FastPass for Frozen Sing-Along at HS?

Hey all- First time planner here. Just got my FastPasses for HS today for 10/17. I am using touringplans to give me a rough idea of when and how to tour. Got Star Tours at 10, TSMM at 11 and Frozen for 1. When I plugged everything into touringplans, it's telling me that I don't need it for Frozen. So what's your experience? Is there any reason, any benefit to have a FastPass for that? Or should I get it for something else? (we're not riding TOT).

I can tell you that we used one on our trip last November and were SO disappointed in wasting it. The FP line was actually further around the building so we followed the signs around to enter while others were filing into the stand by entrance. So, we had to walk further to enter (we had someone with mobility issues) + standby guests behind us were in the holding area well before us.

We were not given priority at entering the theater or anything. In actuality, we ended up behind loads of people that filed into standby while we walked around to FP. I kept thinking maybe I missed something but I posted about it here and evidently we didn't miss anything. In hindsight, we should have followed all those people right into standby and called it a day.

Maybe FP was helpful when the standby line was too much to fit in a single show? So you'd guarantee entrance?

Are you riding Rockin' Roller Coaster?
Yes, at least some of our party is riding Rockin' Roller Coaster.

Hmm...interesting. That sounds like a waste of one FP to me! Maybe I'll look for something else... Thanks!

You absolutely positively do not need a FP+ reservation for the Frozen singalong. The FP+ queue dumps you into the same pre-show waiting area as standby guests.

Agree with the above post. When we were there, the machines were not working, so everyone just piled in.
