Hi, I see that you can use a fastpass plus for MK Wishes and Epcot Illuminations. Can anyone advise me what the fast pass gives us. Is it a special place to watch them?
Thanks

Yes, there are roped off areas for reserved seating for guests with FP+. We used them last night for the parade and fireworks at MK.

Is it reserved seating? Or just a spot to stand or sit on the ground. When I think of reserved seating, it's an actual chair or bench space off of the ground. So if someone could please clarify. Thank You!

No seats.

The pink area on Robo's nice map is a garden that has concrete walls that you can sit on. We got a FP for it last winter and didn't think it was worth a FP.

We used a coveted FP+ to see Wishes last week and i LOVED it! While it isn't a straight-on view of the Castle, we still were able to see the Celebrate the Magic (I think that's what they call the lights on the castle before the fireworks start?) and the actual fireworks with ease. We sat on the grass with about 50 other folks .. they even brought a photo-dude in the Rose Garden just for us! It made me feel "special" and I will remember the experience for a long time. It is great that my pictures don't have someone's camera/tablet or child-on-shoulders in them :thumbsup2

I really enjoyed watching Wishes from the FP+ viewing area. When I was there in late-October, most folks sat in the grassy area immediately to the left of the pink area in Robo's map. The viewing area was the entire grassy area, but CMs were recommending to folks to sit on the left side of the area, before the sloped area, to have the best view of everything.

This is the view:
