Hi,

Had a moment of weakness last night and booked a trip to WDW in September. Staying offsite (Wyndham Grand Bonnet Creek).

It'll be a short break, so I imagine I will only be in the theme parks for 1 or 2 days. How should I go about Fastpass+ etc? Is it worth my while doing this ahead of time, or should I just go for it on entry to the park?

I've been to WDW many times, but never sine the Fastpass+/magic band changes. Been cruising on DCL the last few years and i feel left behind!

Thanks in advance for any help!
Steven

Whether you're in WDW for 1 day or 10, FP+ is definitely worth booking in advance as you know you'll have your top 3 attractions secured.

I totally agree with PP. Go ahead and do it. Just remember/know that you can't book multiples of one specific ride (dumb).

It is worth it. We have used it twice- once as part of the test phase (which went very smoothly), and then right after roll out (which was not nearly as smooth!) It was nice to have everything in one place. Keep in mind that some things, like parades and fireworks, only offered FP+ on certain nights. I assume that is still the case. So, be aware of that when planning.

Thank you everyone for replying. So, I need to purchase a ticket, and then link it to a My Disney Experience account - correct?

Looks like I am too late for "Be our guest"

Yes, purchase your ticket and link to MDE, at 30 days out you will be able to select your FP+s.

BOG will be tough to secure on this "short" notice...but keep trying, you never no what might pop loose! LOL

and you don't need a reservation (at least you didn't when we went). it is better to go very early or late for lunch in order to avoid a massive line, but it was definitely worth it for us.
