FASTPASS for “Frozen – Live at the Hyperion”?

I've never gotten an FP for a show. How does it work? You get an FP for a specific time and show up with it and get in the theater before stand by? And stand by people might not get in if it fills up for a particular show? Thanks!

I think it depends if it will be a TRUE fastpass or if you MUST have one to get into the show. If it is a true FP then it is likely the orchestra section will be FP will the balcony & mezzanine being stand-bye.

That's exactly how it worked for the one and only show fastpass I've done.

FP's for shows should be disconnected from FP's for rides. That is how Disneyland was for many years. FP's for Aladdin or World of Color were not tied to any other FP meaning you could get a show FP even if you already had a ride FP.

With F! and WOC the FP are required to see the show from the general viewing areas. I didn't say anything about not waiting, just mentioning that FP+ may allow people to choose specific show times as it does at WDW. It's one small benefit of this potential change.
No, there are non-FP viewing areas for both. I've done it for WOC. I haven't for F! Because I don't like that show anyway, but I've read reports where people have done it.

If a person wants to choose their show time and it's not the one that is being given out, then they can wait for the show at that time, exactly as they would if their was no FP.

I said general viewing area.
