Fastpass+ fill up times

I'm having a stressful morning. I hate the unknown We are finally here in Orlando., we're planning epcot today and are running late.
My biggest concern is fast pass for soarin will fill up before we get there. I keep picturing our last trip when Hollywood studios was so packed everything was filled by 11am and waits were really long. It was the same time of year.

Normally we are early but long awesome day at magic Kingdom yesterday.

Anyway, does the new system fill up like the old. Seems like magic Kingdom worked out very well with fastpass. Lines moved faster in the fastpass lane

You can use your phone and the app to secure the fass pass with you magic band. Do it from your room.

It sounds like you are staying off-site. If that's the case, then you have to wait until you are in the parks to book your FP+ at the kiosks. And unfortunately, yes, the times fill up. Book your FP+ as soon as you get to the park. Also, Epcot is one of the parks which has "tiering" on FP+. You can only book one Tier 1 FP+. In Epcot, those Tier 1 attractions are: Soarin', Test Track, Maelstrom, Illuminations (reserved viewing area), and the Character Spot.

Yeah I'm staying off site. My fear was right. We couldn't get soarin and lines were over long all day so we skipped it. My daughter is 3 and not tall enough so I would much rather stand in lines for things for her. It all worked out, we all had fun. She got to meet a bunch of characters and I got a little buzz while visiting Mexico. lol

Sounds like it was a successful day at Epcot even without Soarin'.

My boss had the same issue on Monday, waited 15-20 minutes at the FP kiosk, not the one at the front, that line was twice as long and when he got to the system both test track and soarin were no longer available. They ended up waiting close to 2 hours in line for test track
