fastpass etiquette

Note: It's usually my habit to answer all inquiries to the 'Significance of the empty lot' via PM so as not to break the 'No Personal Messages in Posts' rule. Having said that, I've already PMed the answer to curisnfamily and jaysue.

You could have 50 threads about the different things certain types of people tend to do in a rude and selfish way. We see the fastpass clog-up all the time when we are there and the bottom line is that you just have to say excuse me politely and if that doesnt work (it usually wont), you just have to be bold enough to push through. And yes, when you do, you will get the dirty look from them, but who cares? some people are just too dumb to get it.

Tried a 3 minute dispense interval but it did not help reduce the gate huggers. Any suggestions? Letting them early is not an option.

Unfortunately nothing brilliant comes to mind - if people want to intentionally waste their time in a queue before their assigned time comes up I am not sure what can be done....

How can you differentiate people standing in line waiting for the fastpass time from a fastpass line of people who are all there during their valid return time? I wouldn't want to just shove my way past people who are there during their valid return time. [Please pardon my ignorance...I've never been during busy season before!]

This past Christmas, I had that very problem. At M:S, the FP, single rider, and standby lines seem to be side-by-side at first. There was a line of folks standing in what I thought was single rider line... nope... then I thought they were gate huggers and was told in no uncertain terms to get myself to the back of the line. Uh, well, SORRY... if you'd been up against the wall it would have been easier to tell that you were a line at the FP return... and there were a million better (more polite) ways to let me know this was a legitimate line.

Yikes! I've never seen this before at any of the FP entrances. This is really scary! I'll be traveling alone with my 6 year old to the MK and can't imagine having to "push" my way through a crowd & trying to hold onto my son at the same time.....

My Dh mentioned this to me also. We were wondering why are all these people just standing around waiting for their
time. If we arrived early we would just find a bench and sit for five mintues. After the first try they must know that they won't get in early. As far as getting through the crowds. It really wasn't that bad because the CM would hold them back and you could
walk around them to the FP entrance and just enter the ride.
