Just when you think you know everything you can and even bring your touring plan to the hotel with you..lol. HI...we were at the MK for a day on 12/10...had ADR's at CRT..that was worth every penny. Reached into my bag for the touring plan and *@*(@*(@* realized it was at the hotel...oh well. Then...the fast pass issue.

I never read this anywhere so I will pass on this gem in case someone else does not know this. You can't have a fastpass for two different rides at the same time..lol. For instance, my DH and DD wanted to ride Splash Mountain and Big Thunder and the lines were too long..the fastpass return time for both was the same (why would they do this) so we got a fast pass for Splash Mountain first and then Big Thunder. Didn't even look at them...why would we? Did Splash and then at Big Thunder got turned about because it was ...what was the word...oh yes...invalidated. Live and learn...live and learn.

Yes on your first FP ticket it will tell you when you can get a new one. Sorry this happened to you.

Disney does not set the return times, they move throughout the day. When the park first opens all of the return times are the same. A fixed number (varies from attraction to attraction) of FP's will then be released for each time slot. Depending on the attraction and its popularity some will change much quicker than others. However some like SplM and BTMRR may stay together most of the day.

Thought I read that from the "Unofficial Guide?"

Yes you can have more than one fastpass at the same time.

1. If you get another fastpass slightly before using the one you have.

2. If the come back time is more than 2 hours away, you can get another fastpass two hours later anyway Sometimes sooner if the park is not so busy.

3. Lights, Motors at MGM Studios is a special case. You can get a fastpass for it as little as five minutes before or after getting a fastpass to something else.
