i have read in the DK book about disney that fastpasses can run out after say 2pm is this correct,i know you are supposed to get to the parks early but i like a lie in somedays :cool1: which if any parks are the worst affected by this

Entirely depends on which attraction it is and whether the park had early entry for resort guests. A couple of weeks ago EE had no fast passes by 10.45 on 2 days when we went. Because it was the last few weeks of the US kids' holiday, the parks were busy and many rides had run out of fastpasses by 2 or 3, especially if it had been early entry.

They certainly do run out. We visited Epcot twice last trip and FPs for Soarin' had run out by midday.

Yes, they do run out of fast passes!
Mostly by mid/late afternoon.. We were very suprised to find that Space mountain (being the oldest 'big' ride at WDW) had run out quite early on, but, hey you can always queue!
We were playing golf on some of the days we went to the parks, and sometimes got there mid to late afternoon. It was frustrating, when they ran out of fastpasses so early! We actually missed out on quite a few rides, because of it!
If you can, do the 'big' rides on early days, and leave the 'lesser' rides for your lie in days.

It's not particular parks which run out, it's the newer rides, whichever park they're in. This time it was Soarin and EE, last time we visited it was Test Track. On each occasion the rides were less than a year old.

ok thanks for that, guess i will have to get my lazy butt out of bed more often this trip,i know this sounds stupid but I DONT DO QUEUES :furious: i don't have the patience to que 30 minutes let alone 1 hour i have heard some rides take to board.i hope i dont have to wait at the airport or i may not get there anyway :teeth:

You could always go in the single rider line.

My dh did this, (ok I pushed him a bit) he had a 15 mins wait for everest (not bad when the normal wait was 75 mins and they had run out of FP)!

Yeah we always try and do this at any theme park.. Not too bothered about riding together on every single thing especially if it means a much shorter queue!
