Fastpass+ Confusion

While looking at all the available fastpass+ options, I saw that listed under Magic Kingdom, it said this:

"Fastpass+ users can choose 3 or 4 of the attractions above on most days."

I was under the impression that only three could be chosen per day? Can anyone please clear this up?

Also, I am confused on the Fastpass+ kiosks? What are these for if we are able to schedule our fastpasses in advance (our sixty day mark in in three days)?

FP+Kiosks is for those who have the magic bands.
