We are planning a last minute trip May 16th-20th, staying at Wyndham Bonnet Creek. We haven't been to Disney since Pandora opened and I am very nervous about getting FoP fastpasses. We typically always stay at a Disney resort so we have the 60 day window but with the trip being so last minute we weren't able to make that work. Has anyone had luck getting FoP within the 30 day window or is that unheard of?

Our FP+ window opens tomorrow and I was also curious if anyone happened to be looking at our dates and seen what was still available.

Last question, do we still have a thread for cancelled FP+? I remember at one point we had them, similar to what we do for cancelled ADRs, but I can't seem to find them.

Thanks!

You will have a tough time getting FoP at 30 days out. We're hard core offsite people, and that's the one and only ride that's hard to get at 30 days. Your best bet is to get it "day of", which is how we got it.

I don't think there's a thread for cancelled FP+, but it would be pretty useless anyway. There are SO many people on the system at any given moment that as soon as someone cancels it, it's likely another person...not on this board...will see it and pick it up.

No need to be nervous. It's not like you're totally unable to ride without a FP. You can choose to arrive early, before RD, or hop in line just before park closing.

I got one at less than 30 days out, we will be there the week of May 7 and I don't normally book FPs in advance but my son loves that ride. A few days ago I figured I might ought to go ahead and at least book that and had no trouble getting it for our arrival day from 5-6 and there were ones available later in the week as well.

You likely won't see it available but I recommend checking for it one time, if you don't see it then select something else and finish up your FP selections.

Every now and then when you have time, hop on the app and check and see if FoP happens to pop up. For off site/AP guests the best way to grab hard to get FP's is by refreshing the app. So check when you can, especially the day when you're in AK.

On the off chance that park hours change before your trip, check immediately because sometimes a block of FP+ will open up for an hour that the park will now be open that it was not before.

I've heard a lot of stories of people locating FPs for Flight of Passage, but they have to do a lot of checking and refreshing over and over. The odds are great for 30 days out, though you never know. I would schedule your day to arrive well before the gates open, which will keep you from having to wait 3-4 hours later (or missing it).
