Misery by Stephen King in 3 hours and 15 minutes.

Wow, and I thought I was fast.

I read one Patricia Cornwell book one afternoon, in about 6 hours

I love to read books in a day - those days I have clear to do nothing but read are a dime a dozen, but they happen occasionally. :) I did read Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix in a day - that was a pretty fat book!!

I read pretty fast and when I was about 11 or 12 my mom bought me a new book about 350 pages. I went into my room and came out a couple hours later done...she said my habit was getting expensive and took me to the library from then on.

Anything lightweight I can read in a day or two, I have a very boring job! :surfweb:

Quite a few books actually. If they are really good and grab my attention I have been known to read a book in just a few short hours.

Now is Misery as big as IT? because it took me not a full 48 hours to read, and there were over a thousand pages.

I've read a few books in a single day. I haven't done it recently though. I now tend to read in bed before going to sleep, but I get so tired so fast I usually only manage a chapter a night!

I can read the average sized novel in a couple of hours. I specifically pace myself to let myself "savor" the book more but I read very quickly.
