Fastest way to rent out points

I have a reservation checking in on Saturday but due to Covid we are most likely going to cancel. I have an October use year so these points will expire 9/30/21. I was wondering if anyone here has had success renting out points with such a short expiration window? If so, any advice on the best way to go about this? I’ve never had to rent out my points before, I’m so bummed

Check with DVC rental. They may be able to rent them out at a huge discount for someone why can do a last minute trip.

Offer them here on the DIS Rent/Transfer Forum You will be able to get more for your points if you rent them yourself rather than go through a broker. . If you price them right, they will go fast, assuming there is availability for what your customer requests.

Your post count and distribution looks like it qualifies you to use the DIS R/T Forum without paying for a Plan. Be sure to read the Required Reading thread before you post & pay particular attention to post #5 of that thread.

Saturday as in Tomorrow 9/11 or next Saturday 9/18? I only aske because it will take awhile (up to 24 hrs) for you to get up and going on the rent/trade boards.

You may want to look into using one of the Facebook Rental Groups. It is fairly straight forward to use and there are often people looking for last minute reservations there.

Sorry, check in is actually Sunday 9/12. Otherwise I figured I could rent them out as just points that can be used by 9/30. I will look into Facebook rental groups too!

If CarolMN says you have enough posts, try the rent/trade board here, too. You don't have to have posts on that specific forum to qualify. I've had my posts approved within 15 minutes. Give it a try, you have nothing to lose.

Try posting in the last minute timeshare rentals on Tug bbs. Be clear in your post about how you cannot change your dates. That is the question most people will ask you.
