FastBreak question

This may be a silly question but I know someone out there will help me. I enrolled in Fastbreak with Budget. I check and the locations I'm renting from are the ones you go and pick your car. My question is how do you know which cars you can chose from? Are they clearly marked by type of car? Also, sometimes if you go into the counter they give you an upgrade on a car because they don't have the kind of car you reserved...what if that happened to you when you went to pick out your car in the lot? Oh, and one more question...who do I give my coupon too if I go pick up the car and drive out? Sorry, for so many questions I'm just new at all of this freedom.
 
Here's another quandry. I just enrolled in Fastbreak as well and was told that the first time I use it (which will be for our upcoming WDW trip) that I cannot bypass the counter because they will need to verify ID.

Are you other posters above me first time Fastbreak users as well?

We just got our Fastbreak information and membership card yesterday and I called Budget and asked them what happens when we arrive at MCO. The rep said that in MCO there are 2 counters....one for regular service and then one marked Fastbreak that deals only with this card. Both are inside at MCO where other counters may be out in the parking area within different airports.:D

lkohawaii, if the airport that you are renting from has this type of service, then there will be clearly marked overhead signs that say Compact,Intermediate etc. and there's always someone at a kiosk that you must pass through that will verify everything for you. You cannot just drive away.

You'll also have papers stating that they have upgraded you and you'll show them at the exit gate on your way out.

You would show the rep at the counter the upgrade coupon.:D

Sammi- thanks...this is all starting to make sense. Yes this is the first time we're using fastBreak so do I just go to the kiosk or do I have to go inside to verify I.D. ? I need to call Budget to get my number on my ressie so I'll ask them..if I find out I'll post.
 
O.K. everybody....in order to get your fastbreak number onto your current ressie you need to call the FastBreak number. It is 1-800-621-2844. They are only open Mon. -Fri. I think the hours were 7-7 central time. On another thread they said you can put your discount code into your preferences so that in the future you can have the rate code discount price with your fastbreak number on it. I couldn't talk to an agent because they were closed. Hope this helps someone.
 
For those of you who recently joined FastBreak...does that upgrade coupon have an experation date? Do you have to rent a certain size car? In other words can you give me the details. I'm thinking of joining in my name to get the coupon. I won't need the car until next summer so if there is an expiration date then I'll have to wait till closer to travel. Oh one more question if I have a $15 off coupon...can I combine it with an upgrade coupon?
