Fast Passes with Split Stays

Please help my planning addled brain. I am having some confusion about whether or not I can set up FastPasses for the beginning of our trip. We are doing a split stay this November/December. The first leg is two nights at POR with a room and dining plan. The second leg is six nights at AKL with 7 days of tickets and free dining plan. We had hoped to use one day of our 7 day tickets during our POR stay. First, is this possible. Second, can we make FastPasses in advance for this one day?

If you are intending to use your package tickets during the POR stay, you will have to have them separated from your package, and you won't be able to do that until you are actually at WDW and go to Guest Relations to do it. So no, you won't be able to make fastpasses in advance for that one day. At the most, you can make the fastpasses for that day only after you have had the ticket detached from the package.

Only other option is to purchase an additional ticket in advance to cover that day.
