Thanks for ALL the help we have already received from these boards.

Does anyone know where the Fast Pass booths are? Are they only by the entrance or are there more around the pasrk - particularly are there any in Fantasyland?

Many thanks again :flower3: Gill

Hi

The FP booths are located next to the rides they are for e.g. Peter Pan in Fantasyland. I honestly can't recall all the rides with FP but I'm sure someone will be able to help with that :)

Edited to say - just reread your post and I presume you realised that the FP can only be used on FP rides and is only valid for that particular ride i.e. you get a FP for Peter Pan and a different one for Buzz Laser ride etc?? Also, you can't hold more than one FP at one time - until that one expires.... hope that makes sense??

PJackson, so can you only hold one Fastpass *in total* at any one time? I thought it was one *per ride*. eg. I could have one for PP and one for Buzz and one for BTM, but I could have two for Buzz.

Sophin, you can't really miss the Fastpass machines once you know what they look like (about 5 or 6 shoulder-height metal booths, close together). Although when we were there 2 weeks ago a lot of the machines were broken. There are FPs for Peter Pan, Buzz, Big Thunder Mountain, Space Mountain :scared1: and Star Tours, that I recall - there are probably more.

You can hold one fastpass at a time. Thats it.

You put your park ticket into the FP machine at your chosen ride, then it prints you a FP ticket to come back at a certain time.

BUT if that time is over 2 hours away you CAN get another FP two hours afetr your previous one, so you can have two at a time like that.

OR if you take old park tickets with you, as they reportedly work up to 18 months later.

I didn't think it was 2 hours....I thought it was as long as it wasn't the same time slot i.e. you get Buzz for 11.21 - 11.40 and Space Mountain M2 is offering 11.50 - 12.05 then you can get one for SMM2 at the same time........

Yeah well if the first fast pass has expired then you can get a new one, or if the first FP hasnt expired after 2 hours then you can get another one.

But the only time you can have 2 FPs at the same time on one ticket is if you have over a 2 hour wait for your FP time.

But you wont get a new FP ticket printed until your other one has gone past its time or if it was 2 hours ago or more that you got it.

You used to be able to hold one FP per ride but that got changed in April 2007 to fit in with the other Disney parks and now you can only hold one until the time slot window printed on it opens when you can then obtain another. I know lots of people complained when this system was introduced at DLRP but I personally think it's much fairer ~ FPs used to run out by noon under the old system but this summer I was finding they were still available late afternoon to ride late in the evenings. I much prefer it. :thumbsup2

Sorry - missed your question but see the ladies have answered it for you.

If you stay at the Disneyland Hotel (standard room or above) and I'm not sure about the other hotels - maybe suites at the New York & Newport Bay (I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong) then you get fastpasses - I think this varies on where you stay. At the DLH we got one 'unlimited' fastpass per person each day to use on any FP ride bet 2 pm - 6 pm. In the Castle Club in DLH (more than our budget right now!) you get an unlimited FP to use as many times as you like in a day.

With the standard room 'unlimited' FP we were able to essentially hold two FPs at once (our 'room' one and a park one that you get at the booths) but we never needed to as it was quiet and some of the FP booths weren't even open. If you went in peak season though I'd imagine this v useful :)

Hope this makes sense - probably not as I'm not good at explaining :lmao:

Wow patsy!!! I didnt know that about dlh. I thought standard rooms just got one fastpass ticket a day, that you could use once for one ride.

Now i'm even more excited!!

Yes thats what you do get isnt it - i think thats what Patsy said isnt it

We've got the ones off Ebay as well which means when we are staying at DLH in february we could each hold 3 at a time

Oh...i got over excited at the 'unlimited' bit then...lol

For standard rooms, it's only "unlimited" in the sense that the ticket isn't tied to a named ride.

You get one generic fastpass, per person, per day, valid between 2pm - 6pm.
