I will be an offsite Magic Kingdom visitor on Tuesday, Nov. 15th. It's a party day, crowds are expected to be relatively moderate, and we'll just be there during the day (aren't getting party ticket). DH has a seminar at Universal, DS 21 and I are tagging along and have to make the trek over to our favorite WDW park. Yes the new Harry Potter areas at Universal are pretty cool, but SeaWorld and the Magic Kingdom are our favorite parks, have our heart, and are must visits for our short four night / three day stay.
I have a touringplans.com subscription and did a customized touring plan for our MK day. I also already purchased my one day Magic Kingdom tickets already, just so I could maybe get some fastpasses in advance. Price, of course, for a one day ticket is the same as the gate, so no discount.
Anyway, if I can I would love to pick up a FP for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Peter Pan, and Space Mountain. If I count back on the calendar 30 days that gives me Oct. 16th. Does that mean that if I am up after midnight on Saturday Oct. 15th, I can sign on to my Disney experience and try for some fastpasses? Am I understanding when my window opens? Please let me know when that is and whether or not I am misguided in my understanding?
Please note too theatI realize that being offsite with about 40% of all guests onsite, that about 40% of the people may have already made their selections and I might not get any of the fastpasses that I want. Fortunately with the party day and predicted moderate crowds even without that we should be fine and still have a fantastic day. There are just two rides in the touring plan that I have that predict wait times longer than 40 minutes (those are the two I am trying to get a fastpass for -- Seven Dwarfs and Peter Pan). And if I am able to get a fastpass, we will do a second time on Space Mountain. Otherwise we will just do this one once in the morning when wait times are predicted to be pretty short.
