fast pass + : why only ME?

I was just wondering if there is a reason why Disney is only offering the fast pass + testing to those using ME?

No - me too. I mentioned it on one of the latest plus threads but I don't think anyone responded as to any speculation why. I can see why with the first one because they approached people there and it gave them a smaller segment in a more controlled environment to work from , but with the pre selection this time idk why it can't just be resort guests.

I really have no idea but it could be that Disney knows those using Magical Express are staying on site and will be going to the Disney parks.

The only people they know that are coming are people that book packages at Disney either through them or a TA. Most of those people fly and then most use ME. So in that population a large majority use ME.

On my trips Disney only knows I'm coming when I use my ticket since I stay off site and buy tickets from UT.

Now if they are really only targeting ME it maybe because they want non locals or people who came from further away. Using only ME is the best way to get that sample.

I was wondering this also since the post card that I got in the mail for this said "As a Disney guest using Disney's Magical Express Service..."

It gets people at the earliest point in their vacation they can right now without having to be online, I'm guessing.

~I think it makes sense, just because it's much easier. The check-in area at the airport for ME is an ideal location for meeting people before they actually reach Disney World. I also think the sample of people flying in is more reliable and easier to track. I know for a fact that Disney knows exactly when we land, even though they try to pretend they don't.

Not sure if it is linked to ME..very well could be...although I recieved the request to participate with fastpass testing only after checking in online for my upcoming stay..and im only taking ME one way back to MCO...
