Fast Pass Targets

I've got a month or so before my FP window opens. Here's my plan. Thoughts? Recommendations? We will be going the last week of January into February so crowds should be low (2's to 4's on TP). Also, kids are ages 7, 13, and 14.

Magic Kingdom Day 1
7DMT
Space Mountain
Big Thunder Mountain

Magic Kingdom Day 2
7DMT (maybe)
Space Mountain (love this one, so yes)
Big Thunder Mountain (PPO Breakfast here so can hit PP just before park opening)

Animal Kingdom Day 3
Flight of Passage (first one I'll try to get)
Kilimanjaro Safaris
Expedition Everest (will try to RD for Na'vi)

Hollywood Studios Day 4
Toy Story Mania (torn between this and RnR, will FP one and RD the other)
Star Tours
Tower of Terror

Epcot Day 5
Test Track (will RD Soarin')
Mission Space Orange
Space Ship Earth

Animal Kingdom/Epcot Day 6
Flight of Passage (first one I'll try to get)
Expedition Everest
*Should I get a third, or wait and try to pick up something in Epcot after using the first 2?*

Just a few questions...

Why go for the same exact rides in WDW twice? 7DMT is sort of hard to get, but not impossible. But the rest are easily obtained as 4th, 5th, etc...FP+. Not saying you can't get them twice, but why not give yourself some variety. PP? Buzz? Tomorrowland Speedway?

For HS, I would definitely switch TSMM and RnR. You can rope drop TSMM and then get a FP+ for RnR. TSMM has three queues now and the line doesn't get super long right away, so even if you're 10 minutes late to park open, you can still ride. RnR builds really fast. On a related note, if you happen to be in HS near closing time, TSMM is a complete walk on...zero line.

Yes, I keep debating on the MK for second day. I don't think I want to FP PP as it's just not an exciting ride. We go during low crowd times and have always been able to ride standby with short waits. We won't be heart broken if we don't make it on. Tomorrowland Speedway doesn't interest us. I did consider Buzz though - I like that ride. I also considered Enchanted tales w Belle (even though my youngest is a 7 yr old boy), Pirates, Haunted Mansion, and Jungle Cruise.

Good to know about TSMM. I've been watching and lately, the line is longer than RnR in the morning. I haven't looked to much at the second half of the day though.

I'd do 7D twice for sure. But maybe mix up the others. We RD MK and went to BTMRR we road 4 times in 30 minutes (our favorite ride) Maybe FP for Slash or JC

Splash is closed during our trip (at least according to travel agent sites. It's not on Disney's yet).

TSMM and RnR both get long lines early. The difference is that TSMM holds off a bit longer to where it's still a sub 30 minute wait...RnR becomes 30+ minutes very quickly and stays that way all the way through park closing. During peak hours, the TSMM line (and RnR line) get crazy long. I never understand why people wait in it...both rides aren't hard at all to get FP+ for, even same day. RnR is probably my favorite ride in all of WDW, we go on it multiple times every trip. I don't think I've ever done that ride standby, every single time is via FP+. On our last trip, the park closed at 9:30pm. A couple of times, we walked to TSMM around 9:15-9:20pm. The CMs were literally standing around waiting for guests to come and get in the cars. We rode it twice in a row...didn't even have to go through the line again.

If you have any interest in meeting Mickey I would fp that as well. It also frequently runs out before the day of and lines are usually long.

For your last day, you may as well make 3 for AK. If you decide you don’t want it the day of, just cancel it and make one for Epcot.

We have some character meals where we'll meet Mickey, so that's not a priority. Thanks!
