Fast Pass Strategy Question

I'm starting to book our fastpasses and I am confused! Please give me some advice. If we plan to be at MK at rope drop is it silly to book FP's first thing? Is it reasonable to hit the first few rides ex..dwarf train, pooh bear etc and wait till later morning or afternoon to book our fast passes. I guess I'm wondering if it will be so insane that there will be an hour wait for PeterPan or Pooh Bear right off the bat or does it take some time for this? This is the first time ever we will be visiting mid-March and I'm having anxiety about what I hear the crowds are. We have always been February, September, early June visitors when crowds are at there lowest. So I welcome all your advice...Help!!

Peter Pan and 7DMT wait time will jump pretty quickly after rope drop, pooh not as bad. I prefer to use those early hours to hit a larger number of rides that have small lines. Then I book our FP+ for the bigger attractions later in the day. Usually do 1 FP before lunch, and then the other 2 later in the afternoon.

Thank you...

You will get many opinions in this and I know I'm in the minority bUT I like to get my fast passes on the early side, usually done by 1or 2 so I can pick up more for later in the day

My strategy is I usually do my first FP+ around 11am, the 2nd one around noon and the third around 2pm which is after I get lunch - then I usually have time to get another one or two in MK before there aren't any left.

I ride Standby before 11am and then usually squeeze one standby ride in between the 11am and the noon FP+ at MK.

Epcot is trickier for me with it being spread out so much - same with AK. I usually spend my time between FP+ at AK doing things like walking through Gorilla Falls or the Flight of Wonder Show.

For Epcot - I try to get a FP+ for FEA and work others around it. I don't ride Soarin' or MIssion Space and can ride TT at Park Opening with little wait.

DHS is a mess and I usually just book one FP+ after the other as soon as possible (I don't ride RNRC) - see the Muppets Show and sometimes one other show and leave unless I'm going to meet characters - then I'll stick around there longer for that.
