Fast Pass Selection Issue

I feel really stupid asking this question, and I'm sure there is a simple explanation. Today is the first day I can make Fast Pass Plus selections for my family. Two members of my party don't want to ride Space Mountain like the rest of the family does. I was able to cancel the Fast Pass for Space Mountain for the two members. When I go to make different selections, the only option I'm given is "cancel fast passes" for the other two attractions that we DO want to go on. It doesn't seem to allow me to add different fast passes in place of Space Mountain.

I'm sure I am missing something very obvious. Can anybody tell me what I need to do?

Hi! You want to modify your FP, don't cancel. Then you are able to change who is included on that FP or change the time or the selection of the FP altogether. Hope that helps

Unfortunately you cancelled FP. Once you do that you can not get back 1 FP

The part that you got wrong, and I guess it's not clear at the start, you don't have to select everyone when making FP selections. You can just select those that want that ride, make their FP and then select the others, make their FP.

And if you want to change one already booked, you modify. Never cancel. If you cancel even one you have to start all 3 over again.

You'll need to call disney to have the fastpasses added back.

Thanks for the instructions. I wondered how that worked for larger parties of people who did not want to ride everything together.

You either need to modify and switch individual fast passes, or cancel entire days. The system normally shouldn't let you just cancel one FP prior to using any of them

Starting over has worked for me in the past but I wouldn't advise doing that with popular attractions like A&E or 7DMT. Once I got those passes, that was it and I wasn't messing around with the time, lol. You sound like me though with your fast passes, lol, well at least from our next trip on. Previous trips I just scheduled everyone for FPs and if the baby was too small to go on it my hubby just waited out front of the ride for us with him. On our next trip though the baby will be 3, and I don't think he will be happy with just waiting (plus he will actually get his own FP this time around), so now when I schedule a big ride FP for big brother I have to look around the area and see what little brother will want to go on and schedule something for him and Dad, lol. It doesn't get any easier, LOL Plus the fast with FPs you can book them at Midnight so I am like exhausted (I am an early to bed person) while I am trying to think to book these passes...Disney really likes to push the brain process when having to plan a vacation, LOL

That's exactly what I thought, ha ha! 7DMT was one of the passes, and that's something even the youngest can enjoy, so I didn't want to mess with it.

You did the right thing by calling to check and see if they could fix it for you. Results are mixed with that. I'm glad it worked out for you and hope you are now able to move things around as you need to.

For what it's worth, if you ever need to edit them in the future, use the app. It's one time where it makes it much easier to edit for only some members of the group.

Thank you! Good to know! I usually do use the app, but when I went to modify, I waited until I had a computer. Should have stuck with the app it sounds like!
