Fast Pass Return Time Enforcement?

My family and I are going to DL next month. I have read conflicting remarks about the fast pass return time enforcement.

So for anyone that has been recently, have they been enforcing the return time for fast passes, or are they still letting people return after the return window and still ride the ride?

Thanks so much in advance. :)

They started enforcing return times early last year. They might give you a small grace period (e.g., less than 15 minutes), but I wouldn't count on that.

Don't count in 15 minutes, especially in June. 5 minutes would probably be pushing it.

Who is reporting that they are NOT reinforcing the return times? :scratchin

A lot of online articles and youtube videos are out of date and create confusion for web surfers. I think the average person who only goes to DLR every few years doesn't realize how many changes happen from year to year. Thus, the beauty of DisBoards. :goodvibes

The thought crossed my mind too! The answer about old information makes sense. I can see where someone who does not go to DLR very often can get confused.

I also think that sometimes folks read people's recent trip reports that talk about being able to use a FP whenever they wanted (after the time window), but the author doesn't always make it super clear that this happened because the ride was broken down during their FP window.

Yeah I have seen conflicting information on it. Some must have been outdated. I actually talked to someone though, who went just last month, that said the CM's were letting them go on much later than the return time posted. They didn't say what rides they were allowed on, but I only think they did it for a couple of them. It must have just been a fluke, obviously, since that isn't the norm anymore. But that's why I had to ask. ;)
