Fast pass + questions help please!

I'm sorry, I'm sure I could find my answers if I dig deep enough...... The new obtaining a fast pass before your trip is new to me. How exactly does it work? Is it necessary, or can you do the usual fp when you're actually there?

It sorta sounds like a cool option, however I have never planned that much where it's down to a specific time on a specific day. We always plan the trip and go by extra magic hours and what not....what happens if you're there and can't make the time? Cancel it? Reschedule it?

I appreciate some guidance and advice!

you can definitely try and reschedule on the fly, its easy to do from the MDE app right in the park. ANything high demand you should book now, but it's definitely fine to be flexible with most of them. May as well book them when you can, and change them later if it doesnt work.

Wow! That was helpful! I'm going to ask perhaps a silly question,BUT why would you need to do fp+ for fireworks? I kinda get the idea of doing for a parade . Is there a special spot fp+ ppl would view the fireworks NAND/or parade?

The areas for the two FPs are at opposite ends of Main Street for now. The new fireworks FP area affords a great view for sure, but there are tradeoffs associated with selecting it. See the link already provided for more info on that.
