Hi, A few years ago you were able to use the fast pass anytime during the day, not just during the hours that were printed on the pass. Thus if you went in the early am and got a few passes, you could use them in the pm when it got crowded. Can you still do this or are the CM's now sticklers for the printed times??? Fast Pass -- Can you us it any time that day or only during printed hours???

Well I know in DL they usually let you use it AFTER the expiry time. Just not before the start time. Not sure about WDW. Didn't think they let you though, I think it has to be used within the time on the pass (although if you're like 5 mins late I can't see them saying no :confused3 )

They'll let you use it if you are late. I mean what if you were eating lunch in Canada at Epcot and the service was really slow and you missed the friendshop boat and were late for your fastpass time- could you imagine the CM's turning people away? They just don't want people bringing a stack of old fastpasses in to use. I would say fastpasses are good for the same day you get them.

We had Tower of Terror, Fast Pass for 10:55am we got there at 10:50 he did make us wait till 10:55. It was very crowded the RockandRoll was being worked on that morning. We had atleast a 20 min wait with the Fast Pass. Some freinds told us they let them us there Fast Pass for RockandRoll after the experation time, we never tried to.

We have used FP several times after the expiration time without any trouble. I have seen many people have to wait until the start time though.

It depends on the mood of the CM checking fastpasses at the outside of the ride. If the ride has a breakdown, fastpasses maturing in that time frame should be usable all day long, or even the next day if the breakdown is late in the day. A long wait in the fastpass line usually means a ride breakdown not too long ago.

Should you find a long queue in the fastpass lane for any reason and decide to come back yet later and then the CM dishonors your now expired fastpass, at least go to Guest Relations to explain, they will probably replace the fastpass with a newly matured one (or one with no expiration time).

Right. I've found too that it depends on the particular CM and what kind of line there is at the particular time you arrive. Some have made us wait and other have allowed us to cheat the time a little.

I asked a couple os CMs last week. They all said no problem coming anytime after your FP time-they all said we know people go to parades, priority eatings etc. I had FP for space mountain for 10:05 am and used them when we came back that evening-no problem.

I asked about this at Guest Relations when I was at WDW last month. The OFFICIAL WDW policy is that Fastpasses are only valid for the return window. However,at the attraction Cast Member's discretion, you may be allowed to use the Fastpass anytime that day.I used a Fastpass after the window several times during my trip and was never turned away, but just remember the attraction Cast Member CAN refuse the Fastpass after the window. :earsboy:

DW and I were at Epcot on Friday and Test Track had been closed due to rain. They reopened before our FP expired but I did see the CM turn a group away that had their FP expire while the ride was closed. May have been due to the amount of people standing in the FP line.
