Is everyone eligible to get fast passes or is it only multiday ticket holders. I was going to by two one day passes but would not even think of it if we arenot going to be eligible for fastpass.

Anyone with a ticket to that park whether its a 1 day or AP can get a fast pass. You can only get one at a time. So keep that in mind.

As luvinit said, any kind of "ticket media" can be used to obtain FPs. And you actually can get more than one -- after a certain amount of time has passed since getting the first, you are "eligible" to get another. The time you're "re-eligible" will be printed right on the first FP, so you don't have to try to figure anything out -- just read the FP!

It is really incredible that so many people don't know that anyone can use Fastpass. We were there last week and were still getting the dirty looks from 1/2 the people in standby lines as we strolled to the front.

You would have thought by now that people would understand the system as it's advertised quite a bit and info published in the maps.

Is there a maximum number of FP's you can get in one day?
Or can you just keep getting them every 2 hours or so?
Also, what happens if you try to get one before your posted time?
Thanks- I'm new here. :)
We leave on the 16th of May for OKW.

forgetyourtroubles . . . . No maximum number in a day, as far as I know. As StampMom said, you won't have any trouble knowing when you're eligible to get the next one since it will be printed right on the ticket you're holding.

Welcome to the DIS . . . . these boards are absolutely the best. Have a magical trip!!
