Fast Pass question

Hi folks, I am just getting back from a 3 day Disney trip. Today while in line for test track I was chatting with the people in front of us (yes I always strike up chat with the people around me in line) so anyways, we were talking about the fast passes and how great they are, her hubby asked me if you could only have one fast pass and I said "Yes". The woman then looked at him and shook her head no. So I said, hmmm I was sure you could only have one at a time (per pass). She said she read the un-official guid to Disney and it explaines how to get more then one fast pass............

Is this true??????

On your fastpass it will tell you when you can get your next fastpass. If there is a long wait between the time you get your fastpass and the time you can use it, you will be able to get another fastpass after a period of time (a couple hours or so, I think). Also, you can get a new fastpass after the beginning of your fastpass window, usually after 5 minutes. To further complicate it, some passes can be used after the window--the CMs are not real strict as long as it's not before the window has started (not true for all rides, though--Test Track seems stricker). I have also heard that there is a ride or two that's not tied in with the system, so another fastpass can be gotten right away, but I don't know which ride(s) that is and if that's still true.

Also, AAA had a deal last year where you could get as many fast passes as you wanted, one right after another. It was amazing!! We did all the best rides in one morning and then spent the rest of the day just hanging out leisurely in the park.

That would be AWSOME !

The AAA deal is in effect at DisneyLand if you book a package with an onsite hotel. It is a terrific perk.
