Hi, we are DVC members and are taking two friends with us for Christmas next month. I have linked our tickets to our annual passes but cannot link my friends tickets. As it is a very busy time of year we feel it essential to have FP plus this trip. My friends got a voucher from Attraction Tickets Direct with a confirmation number and was told to exchange this at the Disney parks. The confirmation number won't link to the MDE app. The DVC cast members just say link it at check in but I don't feel comfortable with that for this very busy time. Has anyone else had this problem? What is the Disney phone number for these issues? Many thanks

I think there is still an issue with linking will call vouchers for UK tickets.

Most were linking either a couple of days before travel or once they arrived.

All I can suggest is booking yours and Marks FP+ and then when you get the other tickets linked copy your FP for them.

Yet another reason why this system is still in testing...

Thank you - the problem is I would guess something like toy story mania will probably not have any allocation left so close to Christmas but this is our only option at present. I would like to give my go on TSM to my friend as she has not been on it before but guessing the personalised magic bands won't let you do this

When you enter the Fastpass queue you only have to scan your MagicBand (no finger) and the Mickey light turns green to allow you to pass. Although your name appears on the monitors at the desk there is no other check and I don't think you would have an issue letting your friend use your band for that ride.

Thank you everyone that has been helpful xx

ATD's big claim is that they issue real tickets, not vouchers, so I'm not quite sure what it is your friends have received. I think they tend to send the tickets out a couple of weeks prior to travel. On the one occasion I ordered tickets from them, I wasn't willing to let them have my money without tickets in return, so I just told them I was travelling within a fortnight of ordering. Perhaps your friends could contact them and say their travel dates have changed. That's assuming they have actually ordered from ATD, and not another company which does issue exchange certificates. Exchange certificates should work, incidentally, but as Elise79 says, what should work and what does isn't necessarily one and the same. No matter what we tried (including several conversations with Disney IT who claimed to be sorting it out) we weren't able to add dh's AP to MDE ahead of our September trip.

And therein lies one of the main probelms. We were able to link all of our will-call vouchers for our APs plus DD's ticket from Undercover Tourist but I have heard that so many others have had no luck in linking tickets in advance.

Just so you're aware, Sue, Toy Story Mania is one of the two rides we noticed were either so much more popular than the rest or have had their normal FP availability affected by FP+. When we went to DHS last week, we had FPs for 9.40-10.40 for TSM. At approx 10am, when we returned to ride with our FPs, the FP return time was already 19.05-20.05 (whether that is because all paper FPs had genuinely been issued or because the number of paper FPs had been reduced because of FP+, I don't know but I don't ever recall it being quite that bad). The other ride we found was affected in a similar way was Test Track. At 9.20am, the standby line was already 40 minutes and the FP return time was 11.25-12.25. By the time we had ridden at around 11.30, all FPs were gone for the day.

I ordered my tickets from ATD a couple of weeks ago and I received real tickets that I was able to link to my reservation. Perhaps your friends aren't looking at the right thing? :confused3

Once you receive the tickets you can link them though. I am sure at some point over your trip you will be able to book FP+ for the rides you want x

I just seen in the theme park planning board that this week people arriving at pop are only getting one or the other band or KTTW card. This will stop the double dipping hopefully this will apply to all hotels soon and free up some paper fast passes.

It would seem Sara bought her tickets from attractionworld.com so hence the confusion
