Hi- I known there are paper fast passes, but I read that a paid one electronic version is coming. I am going mid June and would like to book fast passes if i can. When I search, I ONLY info old info. TIA

It hasn't started yet. Even when it does, as I understand it, you will not be able to book fastpasses ahead of time. It is the same as paper fastpass, just electronic. So you will have to be in the park and then get a new one every two hours.

Ughh, I feel like if I'm paying extra money I should be getting more than the typical amount of fastpasses.. The only difference is the time I save not walking around to get actual FP tickets then, hmm. I'm on the fence still..

It's definitely not meant to be even a Magic Band/MDE situation. You're just paying extra to not have to physically walk to the attraction, which in practice will probably give you more fastpasses than a non-max pass user. Obviously until it rolls out we won't really know the specifics. As an AP I don't really see myself using it unless it is included in the Signature pass or I have people from out of town that I am going with for full days.

There have been so many unreliable sources on this, I don't even remember if Disney has confirmed it will be a same day only thing. I don't think they've said that much about it yet, other than it's called MaxPass and will be coming eventually.

Here's the Parks blog from when it was first announced. It's possible they might refine their answers going forward, but one of the author's replies in the comment section says you can reserve one at a time from within the park. That says same day only to me.

Your "bonus" is that it also includes Photopass. If you're not a Photopass person, then yeah, that would diminish the value for you.

They did say, it's only for in the parks. The only difference is you use your phone to get fp instead of having to run to get them.

The PhotoPass element is good for my family of 3. Normally I would pay $79 for PhotoPass for a 3-day trip, but with MaxPass, I would pay $90 for 3 days, thus getting the fast pass option for only $11 more. Also, if you had only a couple people doing Fast Passes (let's say two adults doing fast passes and 2 kids not old enough to go on FP rides), you are getting the fast passes and photo pass for only $60 for 3 days. If you have a larger party or longer trip, them it doesn't work out so well.
