Fast Pass Frustrated

*sigh* I am going over the whole new Fast Pass stuff that wasnt in place the last time we went and getting kinda down and frustrated. Besides that WDW has totally thrown a wrench in my cog works, I am having a hard time with the changes and planning. I get it I guess. But as someone who is currently trying to plan for 6 people from 10 to 50 I feel like this totally just binds us and I envision God aweful lines and a very grumpy disappointed family. The tiers?! Im about ready to beat my head against a wall....which to pick which to pick which to pick...knowing my choices will likely kick out the options of others. I am so unsure that I have changed my FP at least 2-3 times in each park. :guilty: Any advise on this system would be helpful. You know...people who have been there done it and can reassure me it will be ok.

My family & l (4 of us, ages 12 to 53) used the new FP+ for the first time earlier this month. We weren't sure how it would suit us, but it worked out fine. We mostly used FP+ for later in the day, so even on days when we had a late start we got on headline attractions without a wait. Some days we got on more rides than l thought we would so l was able to change my FP+ for later days. Overall we found it worked out fine.
Hope you & your family have a great time.

BTW, I like FP+. I think it's actually easier than the old FP. Try not to stress so much about it.

We have been to the parks twice using fastpass+ and we love it. If you have a smartphone, make sure you download the Disney app. That was great for managing fastpasses at the park. I was constantly changing times and attractions to match our schedule (this also worked for last minute dining reservations). We were a party of 5 and I found that if I changed 1 fastpass at a time, we were able to do the big attractions like 7DMT and Splash Mountain multiple times in a day. The downside is that it requires a lot of refreshing on your phone, but it can be done while waiting in line. Walking straight onto those major rides was worth it! I hope that you have a great trip!

I thought you couldn't get another fp for a ride you already had a fp for?

I'm middle aged and if I get it and love it then anyone with an open mind will too. The only thing we missed was RR and that's because it was closed the two times we went to hit it. Oh well we got to do TOT extra.
