Your park admission tickets are only good for admission. Express is a separate ticket, but let me explain in detail the differences between the three kinds of express.
Hotel Room Key
-How you get it: Stay at the HRH, RPR, or PBH.
-Restrictions: Each person needs their room key. There are no limits to the number of times you can use your room key for express.
-Cost: Varies depending on time of year and what kind of room you get.
Express Plus Pass
-How you get it: You either buy online or at the parks at select stores.
-Restrictions: Express plus passes are park and date specific. During the slow season, you can get an express plus pass good for both parks, which is naturally nore expensive. Studio Express is only good at USF for the date listed. Islands Express is only good for the date listed. Each person must have their own pass, and you can only use each pass one time at each attraction. There are no limits on the time to go.
-Cost: Varies per season. Can be as little as $10-$15 or as high as $25-$30.
Express Pass
-How you get it: Go to any of the machines around the parks and scan your admission ticket, either the mag-strip or the barcode. Choose which attraction (if more than one are available) and the time you want to come back.
-Restrictions: Each person needs their own pass. You can only get one pass at a time, every 1-2 hours. The computer will tell you when you can get your next express pass. Times are limited and the popular attractions run out of express very quickly. If you don't make it within the time slot, you are alloted an extra 30 mins to use your pass before it becomes invalid.
-Cost: Free.
