Just me venting, but I hate how hard it is to get FP+within the current Disney FP+ reservation system. And after visiting Pandora and being underwhelmed by it all, is it really worth it? Please convince me otherwise!

I haven't been on it yet (plan is for Feb) but from what I'm reading it definitely sounds worth it.

My 60 day window was this morning. Day 64 was the first available time, and there were only night slots left. I had no problem getting my choice of times for Day 66, however.

Did you book day 4 first or day 7? I'm trying to do something similar.

It was 4am (I live on the west coast), so I don't recall. I think day 7 first to make sure. But, there were plenty of time slots available for both and I needed 8 FP+.

I would try day 4 first. Day 7 should not be a problem. I booked 65 first and then day 67 today.

I hate to hi-jack a thread but do you start counting the 60 days from before your first night at a resort or from your first day in a park? We arrive on the 21st but don't go to a park until the 22nd. What day am I counting down from?

I believe you can book 60 days from your first day of check in.

We have had an unexpected change of plans, and will now be using our AP's to visit WDW during Spring Break. We are going to be at the parks Tues-Fri, although we are arriving Monday night (so day 64 is the farthest out we can get a FP). Do we have ANY hope of getting a FP for FOP? We are going in January and I'm more hopeful then, but I'm wondering if we should have some other plans. The idea of my children standing in line for two hours is... Not fun?

Its hard to say. The ride will be that many months older then and spring break will have long operating hours. I'd try for FP+ for it on your last day, as some people have managed to get it for day 64, and if you can't get it, either skip the ride or rope drop it. We are going in December and again in March. We will definitely ride it in Dec, so if we can't ride it in March its no big deal. We realize spring break is a whole different beast. We plan to rope drop, hit a few headliners, use our 3 FP+ and then get the heck out and go to the pool. Mostly we just want to escape winter!

We were there the week after Easter a few years ago, and although it was crazy, it was really manageable because of planning. I'm hoping for pm FP anyway, but had hoped to hit AK several times, and it seems like sort of a waste of that day's FP if we can't do FOP. We can RD it and hit a few rides, then use FP somewhere else after our pool break, I guess. Fingers crossed!

How many days in your trip? What day were you able to get? We are only going for 5 days in Dec. Our AK days are on day 2 and 4. I didn't have FOP planned until day 4, hopefully we will be successful also.

I doubt you will be able to find any for day two, so it's good that you're not planning for that.

I recently booked ours and the only time I could get was day 5 (including check-in day) at 2pm. This is a short trip and that is our last day so I was glad I got one.

We are planning to be at AK the evening of day 2 and rope drop day 3 so we will likely try to ride standby at one of those two times as well.

I booked this morning. Check in Nov 19th - Navi River on the 21st, FOP on the 23rd. There were no FOP for the 21st when I started FP at 7 am this morning. Good Luck
