Fast Food Burgers

Never heard of 5 guys.

In & Out - hold the spread and get catsup & mustard instead. Cuts down on the fat & doesn't change the flavor of the burger.

I hardly ever get burgers, but I do like 5 Guys. I haven't been there in about a year.

I used to enjoy a Whopper Jr. with cheese, but I haven't had one of those in YEARS.

My fast food downfall is Chick-Fil-A. I've eaten there probably three times this month. I LOVE that place!! :lovestruc

Now that I'm back on the East Coast I find myself really missing the Carl Jr's sourdough burger. My mouth waters for it just writing the name :rolleyes1

Don't know if you have a Hardee's, but it's the East Coast version of Carl Jr's, and they make what's called a "Frisco Burger" (at least that's what they used to call it, not sure now, but I do know they still have it.) I have always LOVED those too!

The past 3 weeks Ive been doing a diet test on Fridays I can have a burger and healthy the rest of the day :)
The other days of the week Im living on fast food and Ive lost about 15 lbs the past 3 weeks doing so.
What made me think to mention this is two people have mentioned chick fil a and chick fil a was so accessible for healthy fast food eating (I get a large soup and large fruit cup or small soup and 6 count chicken nugget).

You guys are making me wish I had a 5 guys for my burger day...I guess In and Out it is as others have suggested it. And LOL to the one who said Royale with cheese that got a good chuckle from me;)

5 Guys was unimpressive to say the least. Fries were good though. A Mickey D's quarter pounder is better. It isn't fast food, but Red Robin has the best burgers anywhere.

When I eat a fast food burger, which isn't very often, I get a Quarter Pounder. I typically waste all of my calorie consumption on sweets! I'll take a salad and some Peanut Butter Cups over a burger most days. I do love White Casles, though, but we don't have any in our area.

My daughter (lives in NC) agrees. We don't have them in FL (at least none near me) but I read their menu online and their stuff does sound yummy.

I find Ihops are better than Red Robins... I usually get Chili at red robin

Really!!!??? Will definitely share this with my DD. I was looking online to find the closest Red Robin to me and it's quite a drive. Guess I'll just visit an Ihop and stay in town.

CONGRATULATIONS on the weight loss and on the upcoming wedding. Have you posted info here on the Dis some place telling about your wedding plans? :goodvibes

Thanks! Nope I haven't we were going to get married in WDW but when polled 4 family members could make it and 0 of the wedding party so that was a no go haha. But his parents are giving us $5000.00 for a honeymoon SOOoooo we are going to do a DCL and maybe club level WL :)

IHop tastes like my grandmother's homemade burger thats why i love it and I love I can get it with fruit instead of fries (not a huge fry person) But try IHops (if you can get past the crepes etc! Which I never get past the omlettes but we had a buy one get one DINNER entree so I tried a burger a year ago and it rocked)

Carl's Jr is Hardees on the eat coast. Although I think they finally closed the last Hardees in South Florida, there's still one in Tampa. And there's a ton of them in other states.

We don't have a Hardee's here but I'm going to have to find out where the closest one is and take a road trip someday soon
A 5 Guys opened up here recently so maybe I'll have to try them out and see if they can compare to Carl Jrs.

they have commercials in the orlando area, but not one around. I finally went to one here in Cali, and the food is really good. But looking at the calorie count can make you feel fat. A nice grilled chicken wrap has over a 1000 calories, and another few hundred for the soup that's paired with it. And don't even look at the burgers, that's enough calories for a couple days.

Strange, huh? Well, one is supposed to be opening soon in Tampa but I hate driving over there. Used to nearly every week-end without a second thought. Getting where driving in traffic unnerves me. :guilty:

First off GOOD LUCK with your dieting goals!!!!!! I am the same way when I am on a diet when I cheat it is with a burger!!!! My favorite is the Teriyaki burger from Red Robin or a Whopper JR. from Burger King. I am not sure what type of diet you are doing but I had a ton success with Sugar Busters and exercising.

Five Guys is a wannabee In N Out Burger, right down to the red & white tile. That being said, they do have the best fast food burgers in this area. However, line them up side by side, and they can't hold a candle to In N Out.

In-N-Out all the way! Its a SoCal staple! That's pretty much the best it gets. My son loves to order from the "secret menu" he gets so excited and really thinks it is a secret!!

The Butter Burger from Culver's!

:worship:

Of course you have to get a frozen custard or concrete for dessert!

In-N-Out is a great burger. When I lived in San Diego I got it a bunch of times. :thumbsup2
