Fashion Advice Needed

I just bought a dress for my company's formal holiday dinner. It's a blue-green color and I'm wondering if I can wear my emerald necklace and earings with it. What do you think?

I love that color, I think it's my favorite.

Personally I wouldn't wear emeralds with that... unless they aren't a true bright green. Usually emeralds are in gold too, and I would be sticking to silvery shades with that color, and no other "color" with that. I love the color though!
