Hmmm...I don't know. With all the problems that seem to keep cropping up (no pun intended) I'm not surprised people are having these problems.

I'm building Orchard after Orchard, so the space that I devote to trees now will produce more than just coin, but also more trees.

Lucky you, if I want more orchards I think they are now 30 farmville dollars. I only have one dollar right now so that's a lost cause. Maybe I missed the chance to build more of them for less when they were first introduced. I was able to start a 2nd one but shortly after that I saw I couldn't start a 3rd without paying for it.

I'd love to start a bakery but it's 80 farmville dollars. I took a farming break over the summer and I guess I missed the boat to buy one for coins. My friend starting farming recently and she's alllowed to buy one for coins so I guess everyone gets a chance to do so but at some point it switches from coins to dollars. So annoying, I'm just sticking to the winery. Or do you only get to choose one for coins - winery, bakery or spa?

You do not need to spend FV cash to build Orchards. You simply can only build one at a time. It'll show "Limit 1" for the coin-paid-for Orchard in the marketplace until the Orchard you're building is completed (all 30 building components), and then you'll be able to purchase another for coin.

You do need to spend FV cash to get a crafting cottage other than the one you indicated first. No one was able to buy a second crafting cottage for coin, as far as I know.

Ah ha! Good to know, thanks. I need a few more wooden boards for my 2nd orchard, but I am happy to know I will then be able to go ahead and start a 3rd. I'm happy that I didn't blow my chance to get the bakery for coins but that it's limited by the game to only the choice of one crafting building. Somehow that makes it better for me.

Sure enough you were right, I finished my 2nd orchard tonight and was able to start a 3rd for 1000 coins (something like that).

I have gotten 4 wonderful new farming neighbors from here, thank you new neighbors!!!

I finished my funhouse...finally.

My first and hopefully last crop of yellow melons will be ready tomorrow so I can start the round melon. I HATE four day crops! After that...nothing is left except for the electric lilies but I'm only on level 94 and level 98 is needed.

I wonder when the Christmas stuff is going to start coming out?

So first I sold off most of my pigs and then they came out with the pig pen, then I sold off a bunch of my trees (I mean a LOT of trees) because I was tired of dealing with all of them and then they came out with the orchards. Last week I sold off my extra chickens because I was tired of harvesting them and now we can expand our chicken coops.

Anything you want added, because I'm pretty sure if I sell it off they'll come out with a way to expand storage and/or make harvesting it easier so I have to go and buy or collect it all over again.

I think I'm done with growing the mystery seedlings also, collecting all these watering cans is making me batty.

Any idea when all the holiday decorations are coming out? I got the santa scarecrow and some candycane fences but really need to add some more to make my farm festive.

I don't know but I hope they don't wait until the last minute as they did for Halloween and Thanksgiving.

Why oh why did I go ahead and buy the combine tonight? It cost 500,000 coins which nearly wiped me out and now I have to collect 40 vehicle parts. I think for that many coins it could come already made. It wouldn't be so bad if I wasn't growing mystery seedlings and making myself nutty every day collecting watering cans. Plus I know something will be coming out for Christmas soon so I just don't see how I can work on everything at the same time but I hate to leave things unfinished.

This farming is a lot of work.

Well, if it makes you feel any better, the combine was the best purchase I have ever made on FV. I love it that much. It makes farming so easy since I can harvest, plow, and plant all at the same time. It is even better when you have it fully upgraded and can do 16 plots at a time. Trust me, you will love it.

Thanks, I'm sure it will be great once I have it built. I sold off some stuff I had sitting in storage to get some more coins and will just have to have more patience in getting everything completed.

I have mine nearly upgraded but rarely remember to use it. Once I harvest the remaining Square Melon crop in the morning, I will be done with all crops I can do right now. I can't do Electric Lilies until level 98 so I won't be doing any farming for a while. I think I'll start taking plots out and get ready for the Christmas make over.
