The latest crop is a joke...candy canes that can only be purchased with a minimum donation of $25.00 FC which is ridiculous...IMHO.

The good news is that pointsettias are a crop that can be mastered this year. And we'll have them for 60 days, according to what it says in the market, and not only that, 3 XP each.

Not yet I just read the forums, and I found out that the gingerbread house is just a decoration. Oh well. It sounds like the winter workshop is what you need to make/give gifts. I dislike the rollout thing, it seems like half my neighbors finish building things and I can't even start.

you need the special delivery packages..they have all the tools ..send them everyday to your neighbors and they will send them back

Oh, I wondered why I couldn't find the workshop in the marketplace. I've seen a few workshop posts from friends but not many. I'm collecting all the materials from their progress posts that I can. Glad I sent out special delivery packages to everyone this morning. I have a ton!!

Ugh, what do I finish first? I just did the first stage of the winter workshop, but then I saw we still need a zillion parts for stage 2. At the same time, I want to see the completed gingerbread house which is also a zillion parts.

All while I am trying to grow trees. Ugh!!!

while everyone else is building their stuff and posting their extras parts I start grabbing the supplies so when mine comes up I have a lot of the things I need already. I seem to get mine later than everyone too.

I know what you mean. I'm working on the workshop, gingerbread house and now I'm doing the Winter Wonderland Quest...I'm on stage 3. Too much to do.

Done with my gingerbread house and workshop, but still have the Winter Wonderland challenge to complete. Remember the old days when all anyone did was plant and harvest crops, no masteries or bushels, or fertilizing neighbors' farms? It seemed as though I had more free time in those days

Well after being locked out of Farmville for a day and half I finally got back on today. I wish they would put some winter items in the free gift selection and let us start gifting presents, I'm all ready to go.

I was really hoping for coin items and the ability to gift presents by now. Having these challenges is ridiculous. If I wanted to complete challenges I would play Frontierville or do co-ops.

The Christmas trees have begun to roll out:

I just saw one post to collect presents from the Workshop too:

You have to purchase the holiday tree for $1.00 of FarmVille cash...it's not free this year.

You also have to buy the ornament trees...they weren't free last year but you could use coins but not this year. I wish I kept them from last year.

Zynga is getting greedy with their holiday stuff.

I think the Christmas trees are 1 coin. I do hate that the we can't buy the ornament trees for coins.
