I have a question about the storage buildings. I bought a tool shed and a red barn. I have the capacity of 13 with each of them. I guess I was under the impression that I could store 13 different items in each. But when I put something in storage (in my barn) the same items show up in my tool shed. Why is this?

And how do I get some of the maple trees? I like those but don't see the option to buy them. I'm on level 29 if that helps.

One more question. I'm just wondering something on the Valentines. Is the Eiffel Tower the last thing you can trade in your Valentines for? I've seen some people with the Eiffel Tower but it's not something I'm interested in. I have about 130 Valentines right now and would like to trade some of them in for a couple of the other things. Or should I save up to 150 to see what it is?

They show up in both so that you can retrieve them in either place. Your total capacity is the total from each of these buildings. So that would be 26 items. It depends on which barn and which storage shed you have though. The red barn only holds 6 items and the white shed holds 2 items. Did you purchase a different barn or shed? Because that total would only be 8 items.

And how do I get some of the maple trees? I like those but don't see the option to buy them. I'm on level 29 if that helps.

I believe that the maple trees are received as gifts.

The Eiffel Tower is the only option if you want to use all of your 150 valentines at once, but you can purchase several of the other gifts with your 150 valentines if you wish, like several teddy bears, etc.

Maple trees were only available from 11/10 until 12/01. You can not get them any more.

I just started playing last month and I was able to adopt a green calf.

The green calf is only available through adoption...meaning you have to see where one of your neighbors is helping to find a new home for the calf. You can't buy them. BUT...you also have to have a bull and an alien cow (B0V1NE-09) in order to adopt a green calf and the alien cows are no longer available. It's the same thing if you want to adopt a pink or brown calf...you have to have a bull and an adult cow of the same color.

What Metro West meant was that your neighbor needed a Dairy Farm, with a bull and an alien cow, in order for them to produce a green calf, which they can then make available to you for adoption.

Off topic ... did you do a barn raising for both? It will increase your storage.

I only did a barn raising for the red barn. i think when I bought the red barn it might of had 6 item capacity and now it does 13. So if I do a barn raising for the tool shed, I should get more?

Yes. You can do two barn raisings for each storage building that you have.

It has been recommended that you only have one barn raising going at a time. It makes sense, more difficult to keep up with more than one at a time.

Whenever I finish a collection and want to post to my profile for others to view and receive a reward, it won't post. Why? I've seen lots of others post but I can't get it to post mine.

Also...I have three collections completed now but I'm only getting credit for one collection according to the ribbon count.

Does anyone else have this problem?

Crap...I STILL don't have a turtle from any of my neighbors! That's about the only adoptable animal I don't have.

It seems that Zynga has put a few of the rarer items, that have been out of circulation for a while, back into circulation, including turtles, and ugly ducklings.
