One thing I'm trying to get a handle on is: How much can you do simultaneously? What prompts this question is sitting around watching FV plod along harvesting, plowing and seeding. What I did this morning was accept gift requests while the game was open in another tab, seeding plots. I think it allowed me to do both... I just had to re-enter the application after the seeding was done, to see the gifts had indeed been placed in my gift box. What I think I'll try next is opening bonus from the Game Feed (Get a bonus from them!) while the game is running in another tab. No sense in sitting around watching it plod along while I could be playing the game.

This theory works. Not only does it speed up the game, but your not missing out on the live feed FV action.

Yes. I do also know that you can also send gifts, while the game is open in another tab.

I do wonder, though, about the boundary conditions, specifically, if your gift box is full, and then you Use some Gifts from your gift box in the application, and then try to accept more gifts from another tab. I think that would still be okay. I think each action (sending Gifts, getting bonuses, accepting gifts, and manipulating plots of land and items from within the game UI) are all independent operations, that really don't care about whether they're taking place from different tabs. Contrast that with having the game open in two tabs. That almost always results in Out of Sync errors.

Is anyone else having Farmville problems today - Monday? I can't plant anything, can't get into the market at all, and I can't "look" at my Valentines. I can harvest my tress and animals tho. What the heck is going on? I missed an entire day of planting...grrrr!

OMG this is first time to see this thread. I am so hooked on Farmville!!! Out of my 75 neighbors only about 20 of them are faithful players. I wold love to have you guys for neighbors.

Sometimes I run into this problem with Firefox. I switch to Safari and have no more trouble harvesting.

I have a 24x24 farm (the majority of it is plots-probably like 90%) and NO FUEL. I am getting so sick and tired of clicking each and every plot one by one. And it doesn't help that right now, I'm working on my 3rd star for my strawberry mastery. So every four hours I'm clicking my little heart away. Thankfully, I'll be done with them with the next planting.

Ok, I'm done with my little whine.

Have you trapped your farmer? That saves a little time when you have no fuel. Otherwise...he walks to each plot which takes a lot of time...as you know.

Yeah, my farmer is trapped. But still, with about 550 plots, it's a pain to click each and every plot. LOL

maslax, you can still 'ask for love' in your valentine mail box. one of the choices is fuel (as well as mystery box, xp, coins, and an animal). If you can get friends to ask for love from you, you can get the fuel you need.

I have the biggest farm possible and I too once had everything being able to be harvested at one time. It was starting to annoy me even going to my farm. So I broke my farm up into things that are harvested at different times (like some 4 day crops, some 2 day, etc.). That way it only takes me a little bit of time to harvest every day and I don't feel like I'm getting carpal tunnel .

I have a little over 40 tanks of fuel left but I use them so sparingly (I only use to seed as I have the other ribbons) as I don't want them to run out!

I wish FV was a little like Mafia Wars in that you could send your neighbors things that they needed for their collections.

Yeah, that's what I've been doing. But I sold all my valentine stuff yesterday (except for my sheep). I don't know how my hubby does it, but he's has received quite a few 20x fuel refills, whether it was from hatching an egg or some type of bonus. Me, not so much. LOL

I was looking into upgrading my AVG Free Anti-Virus to the full version anyway, but then noticed a FV Offer to receive 59 FV Cash for purchasing it. No brainer. Purchased it Friday, still no points. I went through Zynga. They seemed to indicate it was a problem on AVG's side. AVG said they have nothing to do with it. Then I noticed the 'Missing FV Cash' button, and it had a listing of AVG and H&R Block tax software, as purchased but not yet fulfilled. I sent them the AVG confirmation email, so we'll see.

I had purchased the H&R Block software, but not by clicking through the FV Offer page. I sent them my confirmation email for that too. Maybe it will come through as well.

But they sure don't make these offers easy or seamless as they make it sound.
