You won't get onions for a while - grapes & potatos are you best bet right now Then cabbage instead of potatos (when you get it).

Never-Ever harvest your own crops.!! Hire someone else to harvest for you. You earn more money that way. If you don't have anyone...go to the MarketPlace & click on someone to hire them.

Swap jobs with your friends & neighbors...I'll harvest yours & you harvest mine. WIN-WIN

Don't buy useless stuff at first. (fences, barns, paths, etc)

I never buy trees or animals - friends always send trees as gifts.

Go to the marketplace for a job.
- DON'T BEG FOR WORK! I personally refuse to hire beggars. I usually hang out off to the side & strike up a conversation....usually get hired withing 10-15 minutes.

Hi there.

Just made level 5 tonight. Got invited by another Disser and am slowly getting into this game. Had a trip this past weekend otherwise I might be farther along. Worked 1 DISSer's crops on Friday b4 I left and accidently found out I can make a bucketload of money that way Had all my crops harvested that night and haven't planted anything else till tonight cause i couldn't check them.

So if anyone wants to add me go right ahead.

I never beg for work or hire anyone that begs. I just stand quietly or "dance" a little! I move into an empty space on the side so I can be seen.

I have enough to expand my farm but I already spend too much time on it!!

DIS Farmtowners would be great -what a way to combine 2 addictions!

Yes! I wish there was a way to make the plow do a larger area at one time its so time consuming. that's why I quit, I mean my kids, quit farming on webkinz

I just harvested a DISer's pumpkin patch and trees. (Thanks, Jill!)

Now if we could only hire others to do the plowing...

I have no idea why ppl dont want their tree's harvested! There was a conversation at the marketplace while I was selling stuff before but no one answered as to why ppl dont want them harvested.. I hate when I hire ppl and they ask me I'm like duh just harvest everything

I don't have enough land to worry about plowing being a problem, yet. I do need three neighbors, tho.

I have had several people tell me not to harvest the trees. I asked in the marketplace why and was told that some people like their trees to have fruit on them as decoration and they never harvest it. Makes no sense to me - the farm is there to make money isn't it?

It all started when a friend sent me a tree and I was all "what the?" Now I can't stop myself. I'm at level 20, just bought a bigger farm but I need one more neighbor to get the influential neighbor trophy...I can't get one more friend addicted.

Re: Trees - yes the game is about coin but for some of us it is also the planning, the design and the overall look. Unlike crops the fruit on the trees does not rot so it adds a lot of color and dimension to our farms. No touchy the trees unless asked is a good rule to live by

Knowing how to hide someones trees is important. Using the wrench in the toolbar allows you to click off "show trees" and voila they are gone and harvesting is easy and error free.
