Ok the beach is in....LOL....it seriously takes forever
but i like it....of course the rest of the farm needs work

working on putting in a waterfall from my mill...doesnt look right yet
but i'm still new at this

Oh and all that beach work put me to level 29...so pineapples will be ready in a few days

I was just reading some of the posts and WOW!! I didn't know you can have your house on a hill and have a beach! I saw the youtube video and those farms are incredible! I have changed my farm a few times due to expanding of the land. I want my farm to look nice and simple, but somehow, it just looks too messy and busy. I think I'll wait for the rest of the crops to done so I can do the layout all over again.

My children could use some more people on their Facebook so they can play other games that requires more than 8 people.

I have had several people tell me not to harvest the trees. I asked in the marketplace why and was told that some people like their trees to have fruit on them as decoration and they never harvest it. Makes no sense to me - the farm is there to make money isn't it?

Ooops! I have to raise my hand.. I'm one who doesn't want the trees touched. I like my trees with fruits. It just makes it colorful instead of just plain green. With pineapples, peppers, blueberries and carrots, I still make tons of money. I don't need coins! I need experience points!! I've been on level 29 for some days now. I think it's going to take me a few more days before I reach 30. I can't wait to purchase a gazebo!

Does your FT jump around a lot? I try to go to other parts of my land and next thing I know I'm back where I began of off on someone elses property. And it's constantly resetting. Does anyone else have that kind of trouble?

If you guys have an iphone or ipod touch, you might like the game Ranch Rush.

I stated up Farm Town because I miss my ranch. LOL!

I have to find a good tutorial.

I hope I can even get back to my farm, I did not see the bookmark tab that they said to hit.

Oh wait! That was Farmville. Ooops!!!

I'll have to look up Farm Town now.

Don't know. We have lots of frustrations with FT - seems hard to consistently pick the plot you're harvesting.

There seems to be a secret to plowing fast and I don't know what it is. I hired a guy the other night to plow and he was super fast! I had never seen anyone plow that fast.

Anyone know any secrets?

Plowing goes MUCH faster since the update, when you don't have to wait for one field to be finished before you move to the next. The only difference I can see at this point in speed is in regards to how fast you can click and how reliable your connection to Farm Town is.

Metro, plowing goes pretty fast. It just doesn't look like when you do it. Just click on the fields and it will show them in your que--with that shading and line with the 0. But as soon as you click and then make sure you have saved you have plowed. The field shows up as plowed immediately to the others on the farm. So while it looked to you like the guy on your farm was moving fast to him it it looked like he was moving slow. It looks to you like the plowing is finished on your farm but to the worker it still looks like they have to get to all the fields and finish. You dont' have to wait to walk to all the fields. As long as you have saved, you already have the credit for the money and XP points. You can leave.

Kirby, that is just the way the game is set up. You have to be done harvesting the other plot and in the right place to harvest each plot. They have set it up so you don't have to do that for plowing and planting, but harvesting is still one plot at a time.

I didn't know there was an update. I would be thrilled if you didn't try to plow or harvest and end up walking all over the damn farm to get where you worked. That is VERY frustrating. Do you know if that glitch has been fixed?
