I didn't know there was an update. I would be thrilled if you didn't try to plow or harvest and end up walking all over the damn farm to get where you worked. That is VERY frustrating. Do you know if that glitch has been fixed?

They haven't fixed that. The upgrade that fixed the plow/plant thing has been a few weeks ago. You will still wander when you harvest. I find that if I start on the right side and move in a row UP to DOWN then my person tends to stay at the top and not move much. You just have to find the right rhythm that works for you.

I just found that out but made a killing for a guy who had nothing but pineapples to harvest and then plow!

Thanks for the information! I'll keep working at it but it is so frustrating when my person takes off, tells me to "wait....I'm busy" and then my screen shoots off to the side and I have to go back and find where I was to begin with. I keep telling myself that the coins earned is worth the trouble.

On the setting under the wrench, you can make the screen stop following your avatar. The avatar will still wander but your screen will stay put.

Thanks! On another note, I harvested and plowed for seven hours last night. I've decided today that I am just going to have to limit my time working for others to once every time I get on FT. I don't have time for this!

Is anyone else having issues with some plots not wanting to seed?
i've tried to plant a few spaces several times
(get the ex points/money deduct) but still a blank field

I do have the same problems with some fields not being "sewn." I end up having to delete them and re-plow and re-plant them. The WEIRD thing is that when I go to delete them, it says, "Delete this [pineapple] field?"

But nothing grows

I had an instance the other night where DH plowed and I planted behind him. It deducted $$ for both the plowing and planting on all fields. But when I went back later, a bunch of random fields weren't plowed OR planted.

Has everyone seen the new things? There's farm cash now (I don't know how it works yet, it says go to the bank but to go in 20 minutes ) and new things to buy, decorations and buildings and topiary. I'm all excited now. I want that flower wagon.

Looks like Farm Town has just taken a turn for the worse. The "premium" items added (which is most of the cool stuff and all of the topiary) must be purchased with "Farm Cash."

"Farm Cash" is REAL cash. Like, from YOUR bank.

Your only other option to earn this "cash" is to do some of those offers.

I just checked out the game and sad sad to see that they took this turn for the worse. Pet Society did the same thing a while back, but we still play and use the free stuff only. Some of the new items on FT can be bought with coins. I bought a picnic blanket and a campfire.

I hope to totally rearrange my farm sometime, but I have to wait until I have a good chunk of time to do so. Now that I have a big farm and enough "fun money," I might try to use more space for decorating and less for crops.

There is some really cute new stuff! I got a gnome and the Tool Shed. I'm thinking about removing one of my planting fields and putting in the Chicken Coop and Pig Mud Pit Thingy (I just spaced out on the name, lol).

I HAD to get the Squirrel Topiary, even tho I am not thrilled with the Cash idea. But hey, they gave us 5, I spent 4 on it. I really want the Fountain and Flower Cart, but not enough to spend real $ on them. The Lake, Large Greenhouse, and Large Barn are also cool.

I read on the Slashkey Forums that you were supposed to be able to buy another farm as well, but they rescinded that. That would have been SWEET!!!

I just visited the "bank" and saw that you have to buy the farm cash. My exact thought was "ew". Oh well. I'll just have to stick with the things I can buy with coins.

I just noticed that you can rotate items now. Thats a nice change. I'm going to completely redo my farm and change the direction of my houses. I wish now that you could put your stuff in storage while you're not using it. It sure would be easier to rearrange things if you could completely clear your farm off instead of moving things back and forth.

Is anyone else playing restaurant city? I like that game as much as Farm Town now (thanks Chrissy!!)
