Hello, I am a mom of 2. Both went to Disney a few times as babies but now they are 4 and 2 1/2 and are really looking foward to a trip to Disney to see all their "heros"...lol.
My husband has a nice job but he isn't given many days off and he spent most of his years personal and vaction days off for the year when my younger daughter got very ill. For a month she was in and out of the hospital 3 times and had high fevers of 104-105 degrees. They kept testing for UTI's which came back negative until one came back positive so they figured that although it wasn't detected, even on medication for it, she was having one breakthrough UTI after another. She then went in for a procedure to check for Kidney Reflux and found out she had it quite severe in one kidney and pretty severe in the other. She is now finally regulated, 4 months later (although she actually has had a fever for 3 days now and is going in for UTI test on Monday) but my husband is left without any time off for a disney trip.
I have a very bad back, 2 hyerniated disks and sciatica in my leg but for my girls, I am very willing to attempt a Disney vacation for myself and my girls. It will be the first vacation i'll ever take with just my girls and I know i'm in for a tiredsome trip so I want to make it as easy as possible.
I have been trying to "ebay my way" to Disney and am doing pretty well. But with the medical expenses (even with insurance, co pays really add up), I could really use help or dare I even say sympathy.
So after this novel (i'm sorry), I have to ask. Any chance that anyone out there has DVC points expiring really soon that they would like to sell to me? I could probably get All Star (which i'll probably have to do the first 2 nights), but even with my back and fax requests we always seem to get the furtherest back building and they have no sympathy or care. But for the 2nd 2 nights, i'd love to make it special for my girls and easier for myself and I know the Boardwalk (even though we've never stayed there) is a spectacular resort.
I would need a regular studio for the nights of October 19th and 20th at the Boardwalk. If anyone can offer me a spectacular rate per point, i'd be so appreciative! Please email me at ANewVance@aol.com if you can do anything for me.
