Faq

haha that was harsh Cat. OP just meant don't be lazy and try to put some thought into it.

movies: the notebook, how to lose a guy in 10 days
how to ask out: start by seeing if said girl wants to "grab lunch" or "have some icecream after school"

(i'm a sucker for the ice cream line :rolleyes1 )

Ah, okay lol. :upsidedow

Oh thank HEAVENS!

I thought the thread title was something else. :scared:

*Phew*

Q: When a mood-swing is in effect, what is the best way to not get yelled at? I have found not moving, breathing, etc does not work, since "I'm not doing anything to help," and I have found that doing anything results in my being wrong. If I try to help, I'm told that I was supposed to let her do it on her own. If I leave, I was supposed to stay. If I stay, I was supposed to leave. Any solution? xD

That sounds like me. :guilty: I'm a complete female dog. And I know it.
My advice? Um. Just ask her what she wants from you. haha

girls sometimes get this notion that everyone knows how they are feeling and know how to react to it. and when the reaction isn't what they wanted, well then all hell breaks loose. But you just have to deal with it, it will eventually go away. normally if a girl is in a mood swing and she gets mad at you, she wont hold it agaisnt you when she is normal again.

::yes::

Well, movies totally depends on what the girls into.
Here's some advice though, find out what she's into. Ask her what movie she wants to see. popcorn::

If you're going on a first date scary movies are of course good ones (and of course very cliché) but i know on a date i like to snuggle up when i get scared :rolleyes1

as for how to ask her out.....get to know her first, go out for lunch or hang out after school, just little things to get to know each other better.
I "dated" my boyfriend for a good month before we were officially going out, and it was fun to just go on dates and hang around each other, we got to know each other really well and decided we definitley wanted to make it "official" :goodvibes

gooood luck in all your romantic endeavours.

umm..
movies: scary (i know, very cliche ;)), chick flicks.. if you can stand 'em, comedies, anything tom hanks and meg ryan.. ;) we're suckers for those.. lol, also sad movies

ask out: something along the lines of "hey, you wanna do something friday night" or "you wanna go get some (ice cream, pizza, sandwiches, slushies, whatever) " but don't get a friend to ask.. kinda immature, and it seems like your not mature enough to get up the guts to ask her yourself

mood swings: sorry, nothin to do about those..

:lmao: oh my goodness, that was funny.
as for movies- hmm, i wouldn't pick movies for the first date b/c u want to show the girl how much of a good person you are (i.e. not a burnout, ******, etc.) i would go to like, Rita's or an ice cream place-what girl doesn't LOVE ice cream?! but for a second date, I would say a comedy, b/c it's usually a neutral type of movie. not too chick-flicky, not too bloody.
and for asking a girl out- toughie, does depend on the girl (hang on, i'm elaborating), but the best way is probably to hang out with a group of people first, and then you can take it from there. :)

I will go see any kind of movie that looks good. I prefer serious or comedy movies. Horror movies are boring. Please, don't take me to a movie that is rated G. I will cry.

I think it would be cute if they were just randomly talking, and they could take someones comment and twist it into something sweet.

never take me to a horror movie. i mayt be fine whilst i'm there but once those credits have stopped rolling i'm in a nightmare. i will cling to you all the way i will suspect every shadow or unkown/far off object. i don't do horror i have to much imagaination and a very dark view of the real world

Q:what movies are good(ganra, rating, etc) teen romance, comedy

Q:what is a good way to ask a girl out(lines, etc) "um, hey, i was kinda wondering... would you go out with me?" i LOVE it when guys act shy when they are asking you out

That's cute, but if she asks where you got the tickets, don't lie to her.
I hope you have fun!
