FAQ Sticky would be nice???

Don't you think? I see alot of the same questions over and over again, and thought it may be helpful to have a FAQ sticky Questions about the 90 + 10, is Remy still at Chefs(I must see this one 5 times a day!), FAQ's about online ADR's, booking ADR's, etc. Anyone with me? Wonder how we could make it happen

As someone whos had to ask alot of basic questions in past few days...I think a sticky would be lovely.

The problem with stickies is that most of the time, someone will post the question and then be directed to the sticky. Not very many people actually read the stickies before they post. And if you have a sticky that just says "FAQs", how does one know their question is a frequently asked one? You'd have to have a separate sticky for each question.

The vast majority of people don't read stickies. They like to ask their own question and then 'own' it. If it gets bothersome reading so many repeats, I guess those threads can be skipped.

I was thinking the same thing. Most people don't bother to read the stickies ... heck, sometimes they don't even bother to look through the threads listed on the first page of the forum before asking a question that's already been asked repeatedly on a given day.

Of course, if the DIS search function worked better this might not be as much of an issue. Maybe.

Doesn't help, people don't pay attention to them. It's easier just to skip a thread you aren't interested in.
