Fantasyland Ride a thon???

Oh dear, moment of panic swooshing over me.. While my family loves and supports the CMN and completely understand fundraisers.. Is there someone that can tell me what the Fantasyland Ride a thon is? Should I be worried that the Magic Kingdom is going to swamped that day? That's the day we're going to the MK... ANyone know what this is?

Don't worry at all. What this is, is an after hours charity event. CM's as well as non CM's that work in the medical feild raise money for charity and then ride the rides in Fantasyland. The best way to discribe it is like a bowl-a-thon where people sponser you for so many pins or a flat rate. The ride-athon participants are able to enter MK I believe anytime after 4pm just to play and then the actual event starts after the park closes. In my experience with it (I have participate every year since it started) it does not affect the day crowd that much. Most of the CM's that are participating are either working until park closing or don't come until the actual event starts. There is no need to worry about crowds that day

Thanks for the info... I wasn't sure what it was. It sounds like a terrific idea though. My family has had involvement with CMN. WTG for those participating!
