Fantasy Testing a Character Breakfast This Week

I can't really say. It works like the ticket distribution for the princess gathering and anna & elsa meet & greet meaning if you want tickets, they give you tickets for an assigned day and time. I don't know how many times it was offered only that it was definitely offered first sea day at 8:30 am in Animators Palate.

Also wondering if anyone has any new info on this? We'll be sailing the end of November with my boys ages 2 and 4 who would absolutely love it

We were on the Fantasy August 15-22 & the Disney Jr. character breakfast was available. It was listed on the navigator the first day with the Princess Gathering & Anna & Elsa. We didn't make it on the ship until almost 2 & I had no problems getting a ticket. Our assigned time for the breakfast was 9 a.m. on the second day at sea. We saw Mickey, Jake, Sofia, & Doc McStuffins. For us it was a good character meal experience. All 4 made the rounds before our food was served (this is a big deal to us because our middle child has some oral motor difficulties due to cerebal palsy & is an extremely messy eater. We haven't done a character meal in almost 2 years because it's just too stressful with the distractions from eating & then trying to clean up the mess each time a character comes to the table.) The characters weren't too rushed & the kids really loved meeting them. Even the 9 year old, who in real life is mostly over these characters. The 6 year old was over the moon because he's been obsessed with Doc McStuffins this summer. The breakfast was okay. It wasn't as good as one we had at Royal Court one morning, but it was better than the one on disembarkation morning.
If your kids like these characters, I would definitely recommend it. The characters were available at other times, but they always seemed inconvenient due to other plans we had.

I was at this breakfast too!! My friends happen to overhear someone saying 'If you want to go to the character breakfast, get in line there' and they hopped in line and got us all tickets. It was in Animator's Palate, and I enjoyed it. We got pictures with all 4 characters as well, and weren't too rushed. There were Mickey waffles on the kids menu, and my server let me get them :-)

Our cruise is May was right after the trial ended, so they did not have this breakfast. We also did not have Anna (only Elsa) whereas some of the other cruises had it. It sounds like your mileage may vary. DD would have enjoyed it. Oh well. We still had a great cruise.
