The BFF and I are considering a cruise on the Fantasy, leaving the husbands at home and taking along our DS's who will be 6 & 8.

What are the options for us 4 to stay in one stateroom together? Hoping to save a little $$.

Thanks in advance.

If you and your BFF are willing to share a bed, you can sleep in any room that will hold 4. An inside room would save you the most. The boys could share the bunk beds. If you do not want to share a bed and wanted to share a room, you would have to go for a family veranda which can sleep 5. There would be a queen bed, sofa bed, drop down bunk, and a murphy bed. The only thing with that will be making sure the room you pick sleeps 5 as some in this class will only sleep 4. If you were going to do that though, it may be cheaper to get two inside rooms.

.

You don't have to get a verandah. The deluxe family ocean view room also sleeps four or five, with the Murphy bed.

I as an adult have slept on the sofa and it was fine, so inside would work as well - Adult and Kid in big bed. Adult on Sofa and Kid in top Bunk.

We have done it. One of us usually sleeps with our daughters in the big bed, then the adult on the couch that turns into a beds with other child on bunk. Then will usually switch as both kids want to try the bunk ;) Cheaper too as if you get your own room of just 2, your children will become adult prices. Even if a person travels as a single, they pay for two adults.

Are there any interior rooms that are adjoining, in case we get 2 rooms, it would be nice to open them up and have more space. Thanks!

Which stateroom did you book and share? Also, how comfortable was the sofa bed?

Yes, there are interior rooms that connect with an interior door. They are marked on the DCL site, as well as other sites. Google - Disney fantasy deck plan. That would give you extra room and an extra bathroom.

We had a verandah but the bed size of the couch is the same as an inside. It turns into a real bed and was super comfortable. The kids loved the bunks.
