Fantasy Ship - Any updates expected?

We are anxiously awaiting the Dec 2017 DCL itineraries, as that is likely our next Disney vacation. We've had the pleasure of sailing on the Fantasy twice, in Nov 2013 & Nov 2015. My husband loves the cruises, but is interested in trying a different ship. Since I really prefer to leave out of PC (so we can sneak in a few park days), and we aren't interested in anything but a 7-night, it seems our choice is limited to the Fantasy.
Does anyone know if the ship is expected to get any new features - like Avengers Academy or the Star Wars area in the kids club? Something fresh that will make EVERYONE excited ?!?!

The Fantasy is scheduled for dry dock in April/May of next year. As of now, there's no specific information out about changes that might happen in dry dock. If I were to guess, I'd say the arcade will be removed since the arcades have been removed from other ships. I wouldn't be surprised if a Star Wars area is added to the Oceaneers Club.

Well, the Dream recently had her dry dock/upgrades. And she's now pretty much equal to the Fantasy (added Satellite Falls and all). But she does have Vanellope's and a covered concierge sun deck now, in addition.

That's right - I totally forgot about that. More than likely those changes will come in next. I was thinking more of big upgrades like the Magic went through, and possibly the Wonder will go through next.

I don't think that the Dream or Fantasy will be having any major changes (like the Magic) for a number of years.
