I heard you can request paper navigators at guest services. Does anyone have one from a recent Fantasy cruise?

On our Dream cruise it appears that some people were denied these. They were supposedly only for old people (yes, someone was told that they weren’t old enough). We are in our early 50s and seemed to qualify.

I am a millennial and I am generally fine with technology but I find the DCL app extremely frustrating for scheduling because it selectively includes stuff on the schedule. On two of our recent cruises, the spa appointment only showed up on my husband’s app, and some dining only on mine, Royal tea not visible on our plans, despite booking etc., shore excursions missing…Disney makes you include everyone at time of booking so it really shouldn’t be hard to at least have a list of everything you’ve paid for that day! I would love a printed comprehensive weekly plan.

I also miss the old days of cruise ship schedules delivered to your stateroom the night before (but didn’t sail Disney until recently, so I don’t know what they did 10 years ago).

I was on the Wonder a couple of weeks ago for the second Alaska cruise. Embarkation day, the app was not working on board the ship until evening, so they printed out Navigators and had them available. I liked the format and wanted to have all the activities on one sheet to highlight what I was interested in, so asked at Guest Relations for one on the second day and they told me no, that I had to use the app. I'm not old (yet) and very comfortable with technology, but sometimes I just consume information better printed on a sheet of paper. Thought it was kind of odd that they wouldn't provide a printed one by request.

We were on the WISH in April, 2 late 50 year olds. Went to GS every evening after dinner and got a paper navigator for the next day, they seemed like it was no issue at all.
Glad I brought a highlighter, I never saw another person with one, they were all on their phones. Some people did look at us strangely, oh well.
