Fantasy June 29, 2013 Meet Up!

I'm wondering if they will alter it so Pirate Night is on the 4th of July for fireworks. I think I saw that on another board.

That's a good point. That would put pirate night on the last Sea day. It's possible, I suppose, but that's a very fast travel day from St. Martin to CC - the ship travels in in one day what going out it does in 2, so I don't know if they'll have time to stop, position the ship properly, and do the firework show.

Ok guys, so we need a tie breaker for the cruise name. Also, I dropped the ball and forgot to add some names that were suggested before the deadline (totally my fault :guilty:), so those are added onto this second survey as well.

The survey is open now through the 20th, so it's a short one, vote as soon as you can!

click it and use the password "fantasy".

Thanks y'all!

Hi fellow cruisers have got a cruise booked for the Fantasy and it will be the first on Disney. We are Graham ,Linda and Morgan and our 9 year old Grand daughter. We always post on Cruise Critic but we were directed to this posting. Can some one give us some info on this posting board of what happens?. See you all soon.:goodvibes

Does anyone know when we can start signing up for excursions and other activities on the ship?
Thanks

If you access your reservation online, it will tell you when based on whether you're 120, 90, or 75 days out.

My 7 (will be 8 at sail away!) year old DD wants to know if there are any other children that will be sailing with us? Seriously, she has asked no ,ess than 500 times, so PLEASE help a Momma out! :-). 130 days!!! But who's counting!?

Yes! Our DD is a little older (11 - she's looking forward to the edge), but I've been keeping a running total of cruisers based on the thread, and I've got 47 kids so far! It looks like most everyone's listed on the first post - you should be able to find specifics there!

Woo Hoo - we got our Bernard's Tour all booked for St. Maarten yesterday :thumbsup2
One more thing to check off our planning list.
I was telling DS last night how lucky he is because that day is also his birthday. How many kids can say that they spent their 10th birthday touring St. Maarten in the Caribbean??? :cool1:

It is also hard to believe that it is less than a month until time to check in and book excursions!!

My DS is 9 (will be turning 10) when we sail. Hopefully we can have a group meet on the first day so all the kids can get to know one another.
I'm sure your DD will see my DS in the kids club a lot. He is excited to have one more year in the Lab before he has to move up to the tween club.

The Group Name Poll is now closed.

And the winner is.

Can you believe we're only a few months away?!?!? Time to get to work on my FE stuff once I get back from the Princess Marathon THIS WEEKEND :eek::eek:

Dis Fan-atic checking in! Fan 4ver and LostNwonderland are my sisters - we are the party of 13...well 14 now! Is there a Facebook page too?

A little over 4 months left until the cruise. It can't get here fast enough. It looks like we will have a PremEAR on the boat as Lone Ranger is coming out July 3rd.

I have a question about nursery vs club/lab. I have been reading the threads on the boards and I'm very divided. DD8 will definitely go to the club/lab without a problem. I'm not sure about DS. He will be 3 yrs 4 mo on the cruise. He is fairly independent and goes to preschool a couple of days a week. He is potty trained. But he is speech delayed. Not a large amount but noticeable. I think he would be more comfortable with his sister in the club/lab but I'm concerned after reading some of the threads. We are not looking to send them off a large amount of time, maybe a couple of hours a few days. Enough to relax a little, go to a bar, etc. Also my mom will be on the boat and we have adjoining cabins, so she can pick them up at night if they go to the club after dinner. (We have late seating and intend on using the kids club pick up a couple of nights.) So, thoughts?

Also my daughter is very outgoing and friendly so if anyone has a daughter they are looking to have make friends, she would volunteer...lol...

She does not like the clubs unless she has someone to go with. We should try to hook up our kids. Does your daughter have access to facetime-apple products.

Yea she does. But there is a small problem. She doesn't know we are going on a cruise. Lol. It's a surprise. For a few reasons we decided not to tell her about the trip. We are not going to tell her until we leave AKL for port. And we are not telling her we are going to WDW until we leave on plane.

Looking forward to meeting you all on board and we are not telling our 9 year old grand daughter where she is going untill she actually gets on board. She thinks that we are taking her on a Royal Caribbean cruise and then our time share at Ron Jon Resort Cape Canaveral right by the dock. Is there a welcome party like you get on Royal Caribbean with Cruise Critic Meet and Mingle as we have never done a Disney cruise before. Our grand daughter is very outgoing and loves to go to the club and join in.Not long now we can not wait for this to come .
Take care .

My son will be turning 5 on the cruise. He is very shy, but he cannot WAIT to play in the clubs. Our last cruise he was too young, so he's super excited. I would say take her during an open house and show her around. Once she sees how cool it is and meets the cast members there she may not want you to come back and pick her up!

My daughter is 10 will be almost 11 when we cruise. She is very outgoing and has never liked the clubs. She might go to the club if she met someone she liked, but we have been on 4 Disney cruises already and she has never liked them.
I am hoping for her to mee some other kids she can have fun with this trip

Our DD will be 11 on the cruise, and has always loved the clubs! She usually does a lot of the crafts and activities, and makes friends to do things with. Being an only, we worried on our first cruise, but she's always loved it!

She's looking forward to bring in the Edge this time around. I'm not too sure about it, but we'll see how it goes!
