We will be on the ship for my birthday! Can't wait. This is our 3rd Disney cruise, we did a 4 night and 3 night - which wasn't long enough. Definitely looking forward to a 7 night!

HOW FUN!!!! Our last day of school is 5/31 also (Denton ISD). We are pulling her out a few days early though......praying we don't get caught be the "absentee police". ANYWHO......I think making it a Christmas present is awesome! My daughter is 8, and she knows now. We had a week of "how many days???" every 5 minutes..."STILL, 367..its still the same day sweet girl", but NOW, we have fun researching together. I downloaded an app on our phones that keeps a countdown, so cute! We can start planning excursions on March 4, so I think telling the kiddos at the end of December...they can keep busy looking at all the fun excursions for a few weeks. Then you get to book, then they stay crazy busy with all the end of the year stuff at school! 7 clues is SO great! What about finding gifts that start with those letters too that are cruise related?To all the creative folks on our cruise....I am desperately trying to keep this a secret from the family (even DH) until 1-2 days before! Our DD "graduates" from 5th grade on 5.31 (provided we don't have to use the bad weather day on 6.1). So, I am trying to think of a way to surprise them.....any ideas?! For our 1st Disney cruise this past March, I had booked it in June 2010 and held out until Feb 2011, 5 wks before the cruise, to tell them. They were sooooo excited!
I thought about having 7 pieces of paper with "clues" written on them, each starting with a letter of FANTASY? Just don't know....
And then I thought I could make it their Christmas gift, but then I would have to hear for 5 whole months "I want to go NOW!" Decisions, decisions....

Are you flying into MCO or TPA? I'm trying to use advantage points 
We are doing June 1st, at 7:15am DFW to MCO. We want to get a few hours in at Harry Potter World on Friday, we will probably stay at the Doubletree right there across the street, then wake up and drive to Port Canaveral Saturday morning. I wanted to do May 31, BUT, my husband is in finance, and the end of the month is like the end of the world every month...somehow on the first of every month, all is calm again like magic. We used AA Advantage miles for our tickets and there seemed to be quite a few options in the 12.5K redeeming option.When are you flying out? I am debating between Jun 1 afternoon/evening or 1st thing on Jun 2, b/c the last day of school is scheduled for May 31 but if we have a bad weather day, could be Jun 1
I have decided to bring my mom (who will turn 80 3 wks before the cruise) with us - god help me!!! I will get an FE for her and would like to have her added to the same list we are on. Please let me know who I need to get in touch with.

I am with ya, let's go to Alaska TODAY! We went to Lifetime to swim and couldn't get cool in that huge pool! Even the big pools are like spas already?? Walking outside in 105*, and it feels like someone has a hairdryer set on high heat blowing in your face. I'm all for being in first place and setting records...but not for consecutive days over 100, or being hottest day ever. My husband is a little tired of my daughter and I finding cool indoor entertainment in the local malls...heehee. Seen every movie, had everyone over to play......its GOT to end soon!!!!If it's going to be as hot as it is in Tx now on our cruise, I am switching to the Alaskan one
