We booked this cruise November 2014 and just found out about Disboards. We are from Toronto area.

We are a blended family with myself (Yvonne), my fiancé (Sean),
and our 5 children - DD - Jasmine (13), DD - Maya (11), DS -Tiegan (9), DD - Chloe (8), DD - Avery (6)
Sean's dad Tom is also travelling with us.
Though we are all experienced cruisers, we have never been on a Disney cruise and have heard many amazing things about it so we are very excited!

We will be surprising the kids at Christmas with this trip!

We also just found out about the FE gifts and will be joining the group for that as well.

We will be flying into Orlando a few days prior and plan to visit the Harry Potter section of Universal.

Can't wait to meet everyone!

I couldn't find a FE forum for this cruise, so I thought I would start one! This is our first family cruise, and the kids don't know yet! To sign up for the FE you need to send me PM with your cabin number, the names of the people in the cabin, and the ages of the kids at the time of sailing. Unfortunately in order to send a PM you have to have 10 post first. I posted a link back on page 2 of this thread of a test board where you can go and make 10 dummy one word posts to get to your 10. If you have any issues just let me know.

If you want to participate in the FE please send me a PM with your cabin number, the names of everyone in your cabin, and the ages of the kids at the time of sailing.

I am going to keep a running list of everyone that has signed up for the FE here, however I will spilt the list up to groups of 15 cabins to keep it manageable for everyone. If you want to participate in more than 1 group please let me know and I will add you to as many groups as you want. I am going to set the cut off to sign up for the FE at November 30, 2015. This will allow everyone enough time to get their gifts together before the cruise.

What I'm reading here implies that we need at least one pair of long pants and sweatshirts/jackets. Can we assume the rest of the cruise will be warm enough for t-shirts and shorts?

Does anyone know if there is a drug store nearby the port to pick up a case of water before boarding? The ship charges $25 for a case delivered to your room. We don't want to drink pop and juice all week. :/

I've been looking at all of the excursions and wondering what people think. Right now, I'm leaning toward staying on the boat during Cozumel to enjoy the pools and then going on an excursion at Grand Cayman. My oldest will be 4, so we're limited on what we can do, but there was a nature park that sounded fun. Anyone have thoughts on the excursions?

we are hoping to do the swimming with the Dolphins excursion that is kid friendly. Kids are 6 and 5 so I think they will enjoy it.
